Kurds (also) oppressed under Syrian Arab Racist Apartheid regime

Kurds under racist apartheid Syrian Arab Republic

..Like Gaddafi today, seven years ago Assad deployed his air force against the Kurds.

Scores were killed and thousands were arrested. Many of those arrested were tortured by Assad’s forces.

The discrimination that Kurds have faced under Assad and his father is appalling. Since the 1970s, more than 300,000 Kurds have been stripped of their Syrian citizenship. They have been forcibly ejected from their homes and villages in the north and resettled in squalid refugee camps in the south. The expressed purpose of these racist policies has been to prevent territorial contiguity between Syrian, Iraqi and Turkish Kurds and to “Arabize” Syrian Kurdistan where most of Syria’s oil deposits are located.

The Kurds make up around 10 percent of Syria’s population. They oppose not only the Baathist regime, but also the Muslim Brotherhood. Represented in exile by the Kurdistan National Assembly of Syria, since 2004 they have sought the overthrow of the Assad regime and its replacement by democratic, decentralized federal government. Decentralizing authority, they believe, is the best way to check tyranny of both the Baathist and the Muslim Brotherhood variety. The Kurdish demand for a federal government has been endorsed by the Sunni-led exile Syrian Reform Party.

This week the KNA released a statement to the world community. Speaking for Syria’s Kurds and for their Arab, Druse, Alevi and Christian allies in Syria, it asked for the “US, France, UK and international organizations to seek [a] UN resolution condemning [the] Syrian regime for using violence against [the Syrian] people.”

The KNA’s statement requested that the US and its allies “ask for UN-sponsored committees to investigate the recent violence in Syria, including the violence used against the Kurds in 2004.”

What is Mr Blair’s Mission? KurdishMedia.com – By Dr Kamal Mirawdeli 01/11/2001 00:00:00 …
It seems that Mr Blair has not even known or even discreetly mentioned to his hosts that Syria is occupying a part of Kurdistan in which one million Kurds are living who are subject to the most appalling racist apartheid policies of oppression and assimilation. 150,000 of them are even deprived of having passports, being considered as ‘foreigners’ with no right, legally, to enter into employment or marriage. Syria does not allow the Kurds or to call their children Kurdish names.

Syria does not allow the Kurds to use their language for education and promote their art and culture, or to have their own legal political organisations. That is despite the fact that the Kurds are Muslims! But being Muslim for Arab racist regimes that use Islam as an Arabising racist ideology, is equivalent to being an Arab – full stop.

West Kurdistan and the “Arab Awakening” ‎ 3.2.2011
By Minhaj Akreyi

February 3, 2011
Following the mass protests throughout Tunisia that was caused by an act

of self-immolation by a frustrated young man due to high unemployment,

food inflation, corruption, lack of freedom of speech, poor living conditions, among others, which brought down an authoritarian government of 23 years, the Arab people are finally becoming courageous and brave enough to stand up to injustice and oppression against their government; and this new phenomenon among the Arab people is starting to spread hroughout the Arabic countries. Hosni Mubarak, Egypt’s incumbent president, or more like dictator, of 30 years who is feeling the high frustration and anger of its 80 million population protesting vigorously in the streets of many of its large cities, including Cairo, is greatly on the verge of collapse and may soon be joining his Tunisian colleague Ben Ali in Jeddah. Algerian, Jordanian, and Yemeni frustrated, oppressed, and angry people have also joined their Tunisian and Egyptian brethren protesting in their homeland against their highly corrupted governments.

The trend, as it seems, will most likely hit Syria as well. The Syrian regime, which is controlled by the Assad family since 1963, is as corrupted as Hosni Mubarak and his party. Unemployment in Syria is as high as of Egypt; the police and secret forces are as brutal and oppressive; freedom of speech or press does not exist; and the living conditions are no better. It is only natural, and the right of the people, that the people stand up against this tyrannical and dictatorial regime and replace it with one who values human life; who values human dignity; who values education and employment for its people; who values its people; for no government should be allowed to exist if it fails to provide the basic demands of its people. And among all this, one that would give equal rights to its minorities, such as the Kurds, whom for the last 90 years have been systematically oppressed and having their
Kurdish language banned by the Syrian government.

Syria since its creation of modern state has done whatever it could to oppress the Kurdish people in its hope to eradicate and assimilate them.

The Kurdish language is banned; there are over 200,000 Kurds whom are
labeled as foreigners because the Syrian government has stripped them off
of their citizenship and thus these people are not allowed to get a job,
buy a property, open a business, and they are not even allowed to repair
their houses; in 1965 the Syrian government created an “Arabic belt” in
an attempt to change demographic features of the Kurdish populated areas
in which over 150,000 people were displaced out of their homes and today
it is as relevant as it is effecting the Kurdish people greatly; the
burial of over 500,000 Kurdish people alive; including the many other
atrocious acts such as the burning of a movie theater burning 300 students; mass disappearances of critics; various discriminatory and racist laws, among many other horrendous acts.

That is why in order to bring an end to this oppression, the Kurds of Syrian-occupied Kurdistan, or West Kurdistan, must carefully examine the waves of protests that seem to be spreading throughout the Middle East; they must monitor the protests very closely. The already-too many and divided political parties of over 15-20 of West Kurdistan must urgently
communicate with each other in order to lay out a map and plans on what ought to be done should the Syrian population mass protests and should the Assad regime fell. It is of most crucial that all the parties unite at this critical time and opportunity that may prove fruitful and may define a moment in West Kurdistan’s history; and I won’t be too surprised
if something like South Kurdistan is achieved. But of course, in order to reach the level of South Kurdistan,www.ekurd.netfor West Kurdistan it will not be as easy for if the Assad regime fell, there will still be standing Syrian army, the racist Ba’ath party, and other chauvinistic and racist Arab nationalists who would oppose any autonomy or even human rights for the Kurds and so they will do just about everything the Assad regime has been doing since 1963 to make sure the Kurds do not control their faith and to have the Kurds remain as oppressed.

Something that should have been done long time ago, it is still not too late that the more prominent and bigger parties of West Kurdistan should
reach the lesser known and smaller parties to create the same plans and methods in reaching their same goals. The political and religious figures there should gather along with the tribal leaders and youth and have their understanding and trust within each other; envision a coherent and practical plan on what ought to be done given different scenarios; must
have clear demands and goals to present it to a next government should it be needed; decided whether they will fight for autonomy or independence given the position they might be in. They should, if not already done so, contact Kurds outside of West Kurdistan and seek advises, not just with
Kurds from West Kurdistan but in all parts of Kurdistan. They should know their ways of communication and have plan B ready in case the Syrian regime shut off internet and phone lines, which is very likely; the Kurdish population should be made aware and be ready to mass protest.

However, if not most importantly, than equally importantly, there should be Peshmergas ready to fight and defend should there be the need, which most likely there be the need. Because with Assad in power or not, the Syrian army will most definitely fight and without Peshmergas there stands no chance for West Kurdistan to have its demands respected and goals achieved. But the question remains, where will Peshmergas come from
considering the fact that West Kurdistan does not have any? Should the veterans Peshmergas of South Kurdistan join their brothers and sisters for the fight? Should the PKK send some (in 1,000’s) of their freedom fighters there? Or should PJAK, for time being, leave the fight against the Iranian army and fight the Syrian army?

There are serious and absolutely important questions and considerations that needs to be done by Kurds of West Kurdistan and Kurds of all parts of Kurdistan including the Kurds in Diaspora to start right away weighing options and creating plans if the Syrian population rise to fight their
oppressive regime for their long overdue honor, dignity, freedom, human rights, employment rights, education freedom. There could be protests and there could be no protests in Syria; similarly, Assad regime could fell or it may not fell, but that is for future to see. What the Kurds cannot
afford to lose however is if the chance come and they are not prepared for it, and once that chance leaves, there won’t be another chance for a
very long time.

Pharaohs of ancient Egypt were reputed to have employed advisers, whose job was to continuously drum it in their ears: “Remember Pharaoh, you are but human.” This constant refrain, was meant to restrain them from playing God in administering the affairs of their people. In years thereafter, and even today, this critical practice, appears to be missing in the lives of leaders, especially those who want to rule the world, or at least impact on it in their peculiar manner. History is replete with them. Adolph Hitler of Germany, Benito Mussolini of Italy, Ferdinand Marcos of Philippines, Jean-Claude Duvalier (Baby Doc) of Haiti, Augusto Pinochet of Chile, Abdul Nasser of Egypt, Saddam Hussein of Iraq, Idi Amin Dada of Uganda.

All these men, though in varying degrees, wielded influences within their countries at the time they were in power, that tapered towards playing God. Of course their styles were different, but the public understanding of their actions, was similar – they were men, who wanted to dominate the world, their world, some by raw display of power, others by sheer control and manipulation of the thought process of their people. Their actions not only resulted in most cases to outlandish and even bizarre outcomes, but profoundly shook the entire world. Some came with religion, while others came through politics or combined both. However the domino effect were same – the world listened.

Though most of them are now history, even though the impacts and most times scars they created, still remain as reference points to confirm man’s desire to control his environment, there is no doubt that the future would still have a lot of them to contend with willy-nilly, despite the influence of civilisation. This is the context many people are now looking at the renewed wave of activities within the African Union (AU), with the ascension of Libyan leader, Col. Muammar Ghadafi, to its leadership. But does the Libyan leader fit into the profile of these men of power and influence? No doubt. Would he succeed in seizing Africa as they seized their environments? Time will tell. But the fact remains, at least on the surface that he is working at it.

I should like to point out that Gadhafi’s invitation to his fellow Arabs is nothing but a declaration of race war on Africa. It is an invitation to more Arabs to invade and colonise Africa. Indeed, it is a call for the final phase of the 15 centuries old Arab lebensraum war on Afrikans – a war to Islamise and conquer all of Africa, from Cairo to the Cape and from Senegal to Somalia, and to then enslave or Arabise all the conquered Afrikans. In order to make that clear, it is necessary to first put his invitation in the context of the traditions of Arab melanophobia and negrophobia, and of Arab expansionist ambitions and conquests that go back to the time of their Arab prophet, Muhammed.” With his present pre-occupation, this fear may have been assuaged.

While rights agitators in Nigeria avoided making comments regarding the aggressive spread of Islam through Arabism, they agree with Dowden that Gadhafi’s rights records are enough ground to deny him headship of the AU. They also argued that his election says a lot about other African leaders.

Who owns CNN?

The answers might surprise you (or maybe not). Ever wonder why CNN and Time are so blatantly pro-islamic. Ever wonder why these weasels want are tooo eager to toe liberal / islamic propaganda??

A good chunk of AOL Time Warner is owned by Prince Alwaleed Ibn Talal the Saudi billionaire. It is well known that Prince AlWaleed is a front for the Saudi royal family. All of the oil money that is swindled from Aramco the Saudi oil company is “invested” by Prince Al Waleed and his company. From the ‘Saudi Online’ page:
RIYADH, 12 March — Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal announced yesterday that he has spent $1 billion on stocks over the last six months, including another $500 million on Citigroup.
“Already the world’s largest shareholder in Citigroup, the prince’s shareholding in the world’s most profitable bank is now around $10 billion,” said a press release from his Kingdom Holding group.
“At about $43, Citi’s share price was at too attractive a price,” the prince said in the statement.
And he added $450 million to existing shares in AOL Time Warner. “The price was very cheap at around $23,” the prince said.
“I believe in the power of the AOL brand and I am already a shareholder in this global media giant. Therefore, when the price reached lucrative levels, we decided to increase our stake. The weakness in AOL’s stock price is temporary as it reflects the temporary weakness in several areas in which it is involved,” Alwaleed said.
He also increased his stake in priceline.com to $100 million, or 5.4 percent of the company.

Georgetown’s Capitulation to Radical Islam
By Joe Kaufman and Jeffrey Epstein
FrontPageMagazine.com Friday, January 06, 2006
Georgetown University was built with a Catholic and Jesuit identity. This bit of information is proudly displayed on the school’s website. But like Bethlehem in Israel, that identity is quickly being lost to a radical strain of Islam, as a counter-terror symposium has been abandoned and a pro-terror conference has been confirmed. Indeed, one of America’s most prestigious universities appears to be under siege.
Fearing violent reprisal from militant Muslim members of their student body, the school’s conference center rejected an educational symposium being hosted by America’s Truth Forum (formerly the People’s Truth Forum), a non-partisan, fact-based organization whose sole mission is to educate the American people on topics of national security. In this case, the subject matter to be discussed involved the “Underlying Roots of Terrorism: The Radical Islamist Threat to World Peace and National Security.”…
While the counter-terror symposium was shunned, an organization associated with violence has been awarded a forum. From February 17 – 19, the Palestine Solidarity Movement (PSM), an activist group that has expressed its willingness to work with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, will be holding its “Fifth Annual Divestment Conference” on Georgetown University’s campus. At past events, shouts of “Kill the Jews” and “Death to Israel” could be heard amongst the crowd. And according to a news report, during PSM’s last conference, when a resolution to condemn terrorism was voted down, “the delegates erupted in cheers.”
When PSM announced its event, it’s interesting to see who they sent a press release to. A site that devotes a page to the release, Palestine Monitor, is said by one source to be a “PRO-TERRORIST SITE.” This is easy to understand, as the website contains numerous pages glorifying the Intifada (uprising) against Israel. Another location that prominently displays the press release is Ramallah Online, a hate site that equates the Jewish Star (Star of David) with the Nazi Swastika.
Not wanting to anger its on-campus insurgency, the university has remained hush about the event. The consideration of a small matter of money may also be on Georgetown’s mind. The PSM conference is coming on the heels of a $20 million donation to the school, given by a fairly effluent Saudi sheikh, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. This is the same sheikh who had previously donated $27 million to a telethon that raised money for the families of suicide bombers.

New Islamic satellite channel launched
March 8, 2006
Filed under: Newspapers — Hans Henrik Lichtenberg
Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal, the chief executive of Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom Holding Company, has officially launched an Islamic satellite channel seeking to project Islam as a religion of moderation, the Arab News online daily reports. Al-Resalah (The Message) has been broadcasting informally since last Wednesday. At a press conference on Monday, Prince Alwaleed said the 24-hour channel would target an Arab audience, especially young people, by projecting ‘our Arab heritage through a modern medium.’. Al-Resalah will be the forerunner of a future English-language Islamic channel for Western audiences. The prince said the new Islamic network would provide a platform for a dialogue on religious, social and economic issues affecting everyday life, but its priority would be to counteract the misconceptions of Islam in other societies. Tarek Alsuwaidan, the channel?s general manager, said that 40 per cent of the programmes would be youth oriented, 30 per cent would target women and families, and 10 per cent would focus on children, Arab News reports. The Failure of Western Universities [incls. Middle East studies, MESA, Saudi funding at Georgetown and Harvard, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, John Esposito, Martin Kramer, Daniel Pipes]

Kari Vogt, historian of religion at the University of Oslo, has stated that Ibn Warraq’s book “Why I am Not a Muslim” is just as irrelevant to the study of Islam as The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion are to the study of Judaism. She is widely considered as one of the leading expert on Islam in Norway, and is frequently quoted in national media on matters related to Islam and Muslim immigration. People who get most of their information from the mainstream media, which goes for the majority of the population, will thus be systematically fed biased information and half-truths about Islam from our universities, which have largely failed to uphold the ideal of free inquiry. Unfortunately, this situation is pretty similar at universities and colleges throughout the West.

London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), scene to a growing number of anti-Semitic incidents from an increasingly pro-Islamic campus, issued a threat to one of its Jewish students to cease his protests against anti-Semitism at the University. Gavin Gross, an American, had been leading a campaign against the deterioration of conditions for Jewish students at SOAS, which is part of the University of London. SOAS had witnessed an escalation of anti-Jewish activity, in both severity and frequency. At the beginning of the year, the Islamic Society screened a video which compared Judaism with Satanism.
Meanwhile, in a move to “promote understanding between Islam and the West,” Saudi Arabia donated about SR13 million to a leading British museum. The officials said the money from Prince Sultan would pay for a new Saudi and Islamic gallery, which would help to portray Islamic culture and civilization in right perspectives. It would also help fund scholarships for Saudi students at Oxford University.

The Saudis and other oil-rich Arabs are busy buying influence over what Westerners hear about Islam. Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, a member of the Saudi Royal Family, is an international investor currently ranked among the ten richest persons in the world. He is known in the USA for a $10 million check he offered to New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani in October 2001 for the Twin Towers Fund. Mayor Giuliani returned the gift when he learned that the prince had called for the United States to “re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stance toward the Palestinian cause.”

Prince Talal is also creating a TV channel, Al-Resalah, to target American Muslims. He already broadcasts in Saudi Arabia. In 2005, Bin Talal bought 5.46% of voting shares in News Corp, the parent of Fox News. In December 2005 he boasted to Middle East Online about his ability to change what viewers see on Fox News. Covering the riots in France that fall, Fox ran a banner saying: “Muslim riots.” Bin Talal was not happy. “I picked up the phone and called Murdoch […] [and told him] these are not Muslim riots, these are riots out of poverty,” he said. “Within 30 minutes, the title was changed from Muslim riots to civil riots.”

BBC has got a Muslim trying to rewrite historic Jewish Jesus from Judea

December 17, 2008

BBC has got a Muslim trying to rewrite historic Jewish Jesus from Judea (attempting — to no avail — to “Arabize” & confuse JUDEA with Arabia…).

Accompanied with a typical Islamic-bigotry’s bombarding propaganda of the “bad” Israelis that dare to try fight (with security checkpoints) the Arab Muslim (invaders) that terrorize the Jews.

Just another typical biased BBC’s blend of radical Islamism & Arabism re-“view” of true facts, in Islamic culture there’s a word for it: Taqiyya (http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/018169.php#c451487) – an intentional planned lying to and deceit of the infidel, it’s encouraged, as long as the infidel “buys” it.

Arabized media in the west, the CNN case

Arabized media in the west, the CNN case

Bombarding propaganda

Qatar is one of CNN’s major financier, you are getting sick of the repeated advertisement of Arab media tools how so hypocritically they show you their “equality” for everyone, covering the awful truth about oppressing all minorities, all those that are not Arab in the middle east who the supremacists Arabs think its’ all “theirs”.

‘Inside the middle east’

For years, the Syrian born Hala Gorani was going up ranks her “inside the middle east” is still going strong.
‘Inside the middle east’ is basically an Arabic program that its aim is to hide its oppressive tyranny, in a region of totalitarian societies where no Arab country is true democratic or free (in the true sense, including the Iranian/Syrian occupied Lebanon – the terrorized Hezbollahland), by exaggerating true or untrue stories that can be used to idolize Arab middle east.

‘Inside the middle east’ will never show you the true (story of) repressed conditions of non Arabs such as: Kurds, Berbers, Jews, or non Muslims such as: Copts in Egypt, etc.

Ugly ‘Palestinianism’

Also appearing in that Arab program which is only to “educate Americans only about the cherry picked stories – Arabs want us to see“… is Ben Wederman, the notorious west bank based CNN  terribly biased journalist, who never seems to find a spot to reveal the oppression of ‘Palestinians’ upon their people: whether its out of blind radical Islamic motivation or typical Arabisn dictatorship, or the Islamic apartheid against the minority Christian Arab community that live in fear and under persecution, or the genocide campaign that is rampant among most ‘Palestinians to “eradicate” the “Zionist entity” or about the epidemic of ‘honor killing’ crimes, or about corruptive leadership that robs its own people ever since Arafat era, but Ben Wederman doesn’t see any “use” in reporting these burning issues, he is instead a great spokesman for the ‘Palestinian cause’, an example from Nov 7-8 (2008), Ben had a program about “olives”, supposedly just talking about olive oil… soon you saw the blatant despicable ‘Palestinianim’ as the Arab farmer talked about how “old” his tradition is and how the land is so “his”… nothing about Arab immigration into Israel-Palestine of course, that’s a no-no mention in rewriting – Palestine.
He had his camera ready to film Israeli police dispersing a crowd that protested illegal Arab infiltrators into Jewish land… (the true story Ben didn’t tell you) when he was asked politely by the police to evacuate the area he refused (after all, he knows very well he wouldn’t dare refuse any order from the ‘Palestinian’ police… what he never bothers explaining his “situation” living in the west bank, how “neutral” a journalist can be), only the 3rd time when he made sure he had enough to portray the Israeli restrained cops as “bad occupiers” he said he is “going”…

As if it wasn’t enough with Arab tyrants’ regimes “culture” infesting the mainstream media in the US, CNN made yet another Arab program, “MME” Market middle east, where one of the very first opening broadcasts was “naturally” about “how to help the “poor”, “poor” “Palestinians” (no, not how the filthy rich Gulf oil Arabs should help, not those Arab regimes that have encouraged the Arabs –not yet called “palestinians”– in 1948 to evacuate Israel-Palestine, but how the west should rather help them), those self destructive guys, the violence-happy crowd, where bigoted Jihadism and militant racist Arabism was always mainstream, ever since the Mufti led the massacres in the 1920’s – the “creme de la creme” of the middle east.

The middle east insider

There’s no room there for criticism of call for change in the diabolic ‘Palestinian’ society to leave hatred and terror behind and to choose education for their children and ‘normal life’ for themselves.

There’s no space for criticism of all Arab regimes that rule their people with an iron fist, Arabian middle east where synonymous with torture, no, not the light type attributed to the CIA in Gtmo., but the darkest kind, where most of all: Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran (and its Hezbullah thugs) & Egypt are doing it with passion and special “tender love”.

That’s true Islamism & Arabism, to keep committing the crimes in the middle east and to show [fake] unity outside, that’s the true “middle east insider”.

Fitzgerald: Arab racism and black Muslims

You can find online complaints about Arab racism from black Muslims (or Black Muslims, that is members of the Nation of Islam, who are not considered real Muslims by the Arabs) in this country. Despite the universalist claims made for Islam, it is, and has always been, a vehicle for Arab supremacism. The reasons are not hard to find. As Anwar Shaikh (an ex-Muslim who was born in Pakistan and died in Wales in 2006) noted in his book Islam, The Arab National Religion, the Arabs consider themselves to be superior to other Muslims because they “received” the message from Allah. It was given to them and was in their language. Non-Arab Muslims are supposed to read the Qur’an, or listen to its recital, only in Arabic. Any other version, in any other language, is not the same thing.

Compare this to the missionaries for Christianity, who in some cases became extraordinary linguists in order to study native languages and dialects and translate the Bible into them. And they did this for languages that in many cases had never had a written form — thereby helping to preserve the language for use, and for study.

And when a Muslim prays, wherever in the world he may be, he is directed to pray — it is a matter of fantastic importance — toward Mecca, toward the Hejaz, toward Arabia, the center of his being.

And the Sunnah, one should not forget, is at least as important as the Qur’an. Some Arabs even say that it is possible to imagine a guide to life with the Sunnah alone, but not with the Qur’an alone. Both matter. And what is the Sunnah? It consists of “practice” — the customs and manners of the early Arabs, that is, of Muhammad and His Companions, that serve to gloss the Qur’an. And the Sunnah is derived from two texts — the Hadith, the written record of the sayings and acts of Muhammad, and the Sira, the biography of Muhammad, the first version of which appeared a century-and-a-half after the historical (if he was historical) Muhammad’s death. What matters is not what parts of the Sira were imagined or which Hadith were made up, and by what means, but which parts Muslims take to be the genuine details of the life of Muhammad, and what Hadith they believe to be the most “authentic” in the compilations of the most “authoritative” — by their lights — muhaddithin.

As Anwar Shaikh notes, the Arabs of Arabia needed their own “religion” to compete with, but not to be completely unlike, the earlier-in-time monotheisms of the lands they first conquered. These lands were inhabited by Christians and Jews. The Jews were not confined to the Land of Israel, but were to be found living, and for a long time, in many parts of the Middle East. They were living in Iran and present-day Iraq, and of course in Arabia itself — for how else could they keep being encountered by Muhammad, in Mecca, Medina (Yathrib), the Khaybar Oasis? The Arab “religion” that they created is clearly the result of taking bits and pieces of pagan Arab pre-Islamic lore (the djinn, for example), mixed with misunderstood and misremembered bits of Judaism and Christianity.

This amalgam was presented to the conquered peoples, the Christians and Jews, as not the New and Improved Version of their faiths (as modern Western marketers might have done with a detergent), but rather as something else — the True Version of Their Faith, which they had misunderstood and distorted or perverted. This made it less strange a faith, and those elements of pre-existing beliefs to be found within it, however jumbled, made it easier for Islam to insinuate itself into the minds of non-Muslims who often converted purely as a practical matter. They did so in order to join the side of the conquerors, to be free of the many disabilities that as non-Muslims they would have to endure (the three choices were: to be killed, to convert, or to endure forever the status of dhimmi, with all that that meant). How many Christians in America today, if they had, in perpetuity, to pay $50,000 per head to remain Christians, would do so? For how many would there be a falling off, and how many each year?

Islam has been a destroyer of other cultures and other languages. In a world that worships “diversity,” the thrust of Islam has been to efface diversity. Languages other than Arabic have received no sympathetic study or attention by Arabs or Muslim missionaries — the effort has been to efface the many languages and cultures that could once be found in the lands conquered. There are, here and there, pockets of Aramaic-speakers in some Syrian villages, a handful of Mandaeans and Yazidis (450 of whom were killed by Muslim bombs in the worst act of Muslim terror in Iraq). There are the Copts in Egypt, or what is left of them, they who once were virtually the entire population of Egypt. There are Assyrians and Chaldeans in Iraq, or what is left of them, they who were once…ditto. And so on.

The history of Arab oppression of blacks, whether those blacks became nominal Muslims or not, is too long. The history of Arab enslavement of blacks started far earlier, was much more devastating in its effects, and continued much later, than the Atlantic slave trade. A scholar has estimated that because Arabs specialized in seizing young black males for use in harems (contrary to the Western imagination, harems were not just for the rulers), and would castrate their hunted prey in situ in the jungle, the mortality rate among those then taken by slave coffle to the waiting boats that would take them to the slave markets of Islam reached 90%. See “The Hideous Trade” or google that title and “Jihad Watch” for more.

Slavery is legitimate in Islam. Muhammad had slaves. Muhammad is the Perfect Man. Seventh-century Arabia allowed slavery. Seventh-century Arabia provides the Sunnah, the customs and manners that are to be followed. The Arab slave trade went up and down East Africa, with the chief entrepot for the local trade in African blacks being the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba, held by the Arab rulers of Oman. The Arabs also went deep into Central Africa, and into West Africa too, while the European slave-traders never managed to penetrate the interior, preferring to remain on the coast of West Africa and having slaves delivered to them by local tribes.

Slavery was not abolished willingly by the Arabs. It was stamped out, rather, by Western powers. There is no Arab William Wilberforce. There never has been a declaration, by any Arab leader, or government, or theological institute, that slavery is always and everywhere morally wrong. And there cannot be such a declaration, because Muslims are hemmed in by the Example of Muhammad, uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil, and the practice of the Sunnah. If the French ended Arab enslavement of blacks in much of North Africa, it was the British — the Royal Navy — that helped stamp out the slave trade that continued between Africa and Arabia. This tale is told most fully in J. B. Kelly’s “Britain and the Persian Gulf, 1795-1880.” But the Arabs still managed, as the British presence on the seas diminished, to resurrect that slave trade, which continued into the 1960s.

In 1962, just before slavery was formally abolished — because Saudi Arabia was not yet rich from oil revenues, it had to succumb to Western pressure — 20% at least of the population consisted of black slaves. For more google “Arab slave trade in Africa,” or start here.

It is not surprising that in Dayton, a Muslim girl might have made up a story blaming black men. Nor is it surprising that the Arabs in this congregation want to move from a black neighborhood to a white one. Look at how unwelcome Arabs and Pakistanis have made black Muslims who wish to attend, in any numbers, the same mosques with them. Blacks are seen as fit fodder for conversion to Islam — without really letting potential converts know much about Islam. The proselytizers hold back so much, until their targets are deeply committed and can’t easily get out. They do this so as to swell Muslim ranks and perceived (and real) power, but are not so happy for the new converts to actually associate with Arabs and Pakistanis, who find such an association distasteful. Compare that with the welcoming practice of Christian churches, not least among those evangelicals who have become the butt of so much self-assured mockery.

Not only are most forms of art — sculpture and most painting — forbidden in Islam (look at any major museum at the “Islamic art” — Arabic calligraphy on ceramic plates, and Qur’anic calligraphy on paper), but it is difficult to conduct science within a society suffused with Islam, that discourages every sign of free and skeptical inquiry about the most important thing — Islam — and hence about everything else as well).

And then there is music. There is no Muslim equivalent to the church music of Christianity. Music is forbidden (Black Muslims in America may at times ignore this ban — one more sign of un-orthodoxy). Wherever strict Muslims are in power, they attempt to ban all kinds of music, the folk-music that naturally wells up, as it does in Afghanistan, because it responds to a universal need that the Shari’a laws do not allow to be met. The wedding-singers killed in Afghanistan, the gamelan players in Indonesia disparaged by local Muslims, the RAI singers (often Berbers) threatened or killed in Algeria — all of these are signs and symbols of the Islamic hostility to music. This does not mean that there are not singers. No one denies that there is Arabic music — that oud, those other exotic instruments, or even singers such as Umm Kalthum. But the role of music is much smaller, and it is despite Islam and its discouragement that music appears. The texts and the spirit of Islam, truly adhered to, would deny a role for music altogether. It distracts, you see: distracts from worship.

Sister Rosetta Tharpe begs to differ.

And in the earlier, pre-old-time-religion phase of her career, Rosetta Tharpe’s performance begs to differ with, and demands to ignore, just as much as does her later work, the hostility to music that is inculcated by Islam. And her many admirers — whose numbers may swell with the two examples of her art posted today — will agree.

Arabism Equals Racism

FrontPageMagazine.com October 13, 2006

There’s an expression, “The pot calling the kettle black.” It refers to someone claiming a sin in others that is at least as prevalent – if not more so – in the accuser than it is in the accused. Hypocrisy is the name of the game.

Turn the clock back three decades.

Some things change, others never will – such as the acceptance of anyone else’s political rights in a multi-ethnic region that most Arabs see exclusively as “purely Arab patrimony.” That’s the Arab-Israel conflict in a nutshell; but it is also the core of the Arab-Berber, Arab-Kurd, Arab-Black African, Arab-Copt, Arab-Assyrian, Arab-non-Arab Lebanese conflicts, as well, among others. The Arabs’ Anfal Campaign against the Kurds and their actions in Darfur and the rest of the southern Sudan are just a few of many examples of Arab genocidal actions against all who might disagree.

To be accepted, and not literally exterminated, one must do what Egypt’s most successful Copt did – consent to this age-old forced subjugation and Arabization. Dr. Boutros Boutros Ghali became a top official in President Anwar Sadat’s government and went on to become Secretary General of the United Nations, as well.

“Uncle Butros” instead of “Uncle Tom”.

He also instructed that for it to be accepted, Israel, as an entire country, must consent to being Arabized; like those Kurdish kids in Syrian Kurdistan who are forced today to sing songs praising their “Arab identity” and so forth.

Back in the 1970s, I was a consultant for a major organization while trying to finish my own doctoral work. One of my main jobs involved being brought in by dozens of major colleges and universities across a three-state region in the American Midwest to balance anti-Israel spokesmen on campus. One such visit was to Ohio University in Athens, near my small-mouth bass fishing grounds in the Hocking River.

OU was famous for its English language program for foreign students, so there were numerous folks there from all over the Arab and African worlds.

Those were the days of the United Nations’ infamous Zionism Equals Racism resolution. Arab and pro-Arab professors were already hijacking the campus scene, constantly putting Israel under the high-power lens of moral scrutiny in ways that they would never dream of doing to the Jewish State’s surrounding Arab neighbors.

It was arranged for me to come to deliver a lecture to balance one given previously by the other side.

The Arabs and their supporters – often left-wing Jews themselves – were “loaded for game” when they heard of my invitation. But so was I.

I was a card-carrying member of the London-based Anti-Slavery Society, and persistent reports were coming through of slavery (and worse) still being practiced in Arab lands, the lands of some of the same folks screaming about alleged “Zionist racists”. I prepared a small booklet called “Look Who’s Calling the Kettle Black”, which consisted of about a dozen short articles dealing with the hypocrisy of the Arab position. I had numerous copies prepared for distribution.

I had some of my host students in the audience ready for action. They were in the company of hundreds who packed the lecture hall, including college officials, professors and so forth. Unlike some of the Hillel organizations elsewhere, the director at OU was on the ball when it came to these issues. My cadre consisted largely of Hillel members.

After my presentation, I had my usual question-and-answer session. That’s when the proverbial manure hit the fan. I was anticipating a Zionism-equals-racism question from the audience and, sure enough, I was blessed with one.

I calmly replied, “Since you are so concerned about such issues, I believe you’ll be interested in the packet of information you are about to receive.”

I then had my cadre pass out the “Look Who’s Calling The Kettle Black” booklets.

After the commotion and dust settled, and it was time to leave for my hotel, several carloads of Arab students followed me. Some members of my group decided it was best to keep me company that night. Think of the Danish cartoons and the Pope’s comment incidents today. The Arab idea of free speech is the same now as it was back then, and as it has always been.

The next day, before returning to my office in Columbus, I decided to visit the nearby famous boot factory in Nelsonville.

What I’m going to relate next may sound a bit melodramatic, but it was for real.

I was on one of the top floors of the factory outlet looking at brand-name dress boots. There was hardly anyone else there, so I was sort of isolated.

All of a sudden, I spotted a half dozen tall, Black men down the aisle from me. One of them then called out, “Mr. Hooonigmannn!”

After my experience the night before, I figured that my time on Earth was up. There were definitely folks at OU who wanted to kill me that night. I nervously stood my ground as they ran up to me.

And if you offered me a million dollars, I would not have traded it for the subsequent experience.

As they grabbed my hands, they said, “Thank you so much for last night. We had never heard or seen what you shared with us before.”

Should I be ashamed to tell you of the tears in my eyes at that moment?

These were not just any folks. These were students, sent by their countries, who would later go on to become some of those nations’ future professionals and leaders.

As I did on dozens of other campuses, through scores of other platforms, and in dozens of op-eds for leading newspapers all over the region, I tried my best to help change some minds – one at a time.

The struggle is as hard, if not harder, today, but those of us who care have no other choice but to continue in this ever-growing uphill battle for a bit of justice for the Jew of the nations.

There are two causes of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The first is Arab racism, which rejects any presence that is not Arab in its neighborhood; the second is Islamic intolerance which leads to the same rejection.
Between 1922 and 1948, the Arabs were given 90% of the Palestine Mandate — a territory in which no country existed and which had been promised by its British rulers to the Jews. The Jews were forbidden to live in the Arab portions of the mandate — a concession by the British to Arab racism. At the same time, because the Jews were a tolerant and democratic people, nearly a million Arabs were assimilated into the portion the Jews controlled where they were given more rights than Arabs anywhere else in the Middle East. The Arab response to this compromise was a seven-nation military assault on this new state, which was called “Israel,” and was a state largely composed of recent survivors of the worst genocide in human history. From the outset, then, the Middle East conflict was a war of xenophobic backwardness and ethnic barbarism waged against a persecuted people who intended no harm to their neighbors and sought only peace. http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=7268

Darfur and arab racism

Writing in The Times, Adam LeBor asks the question that should shame every Muslim petulantly whining about U.S. and Israeli “war crimes” in fighting jihad. When do muslim states deem the lives of fellow muslims not worth saving?

Answer: When they are black Africans

Since the start of the conflict in spring 2003, more than 400,000 people have been killed, or died of disease or malnutrition, while more than two million have been made homeless. The Fur, Zaghawa and Massalit ethnic groups of Darfur, Sunni Muslims, are victims of the first genocide of the 21st century — their menfolk massacred, their women raped, their villages razed, their children thrown into burning houses. Their tormentors abuse them as abid, Arabic for slave, or zurka, meaning “dirty black”.
http://www.tpmcafe.com/blog/lel66/2007/mar/17/darfur_and_arab_racism

Arabs and Arabised Muslims never formally ended slavery and had a reconciliation or reparations process for their treatment of Afrikans. It continues in Mauritania and Sudan and only ended in Northern Nigeria in 1936 and Sierra Leone in 1928. There was no Middle East civil war to abolish slavery.

Darfur slaughter rooted in Arab-African slavery

By ELLEN KNICKMEYER
The Associated Press

DAKAR, Senegal — The vacationing Senegalese businessman strolling on a summer evening in a North African resort town could have forgotten he was anything but a Muslim among Muslims, an African among Africans. But a shouted insult from an Arab policeman set the black man straight: “Son of a slave.”
Along ancient Saharan trade routes, 1,300 years of shared history that have mingled the faiths, cultures and skin tones of Arabs and Africans have left another, more vicious legacy: Arab-African slavery that has endured as long as the two peoples have been together, leaving black Africans fighting perceptions of themselves as lesser beings and of Arabs as the civilizing, conquering force.

Today, the old roles are playing out at their most extreme in Sudan’s Darfur region, with murderous results: Arab horseman clutching AK-47s raze non-Arab African villages and drive off and kill the villagers, in what rights groups call an ethnic-cleansing campaign backed by Sudan’s Arab-led government.

To Pape Thierno Ndiaye, the Senegalese businessman who spent the mid-1990s in Arab-dominated North Africa, the message was simply that he was a lesser being than Arabs and unwelcome among them.

“It was like that all the time,” Ndiaye, now back home in Senegal, said of his time on the Arab-dominated northern edge of the Sahara and of the policeman’s insult in the Morocco beach town of Agadir.

“It was insults all the time; all of a sudden, the problem of color had become an ordeal,” Ndiaye said.

In Sudan, experts said similar racism is the spark setting fire to Darfur. Up to 80,000 black African villagers are believed to have died, many slain by Arab Janjaweed nomads competing with them for a fertile zone shrinking under desertification and by a minority Arab government accustomed to keeping power by killing opponents.

U.S. officials said more than 1 million people are displaced and expect about 300,000 of Darfur’s non-Arab Africans will die by the end of the year.

“You, the black women, we will exterminate you,” Amnesty International quoted one 20-year-old black African woman as telling them, speaking of the Janjaweed who abducted the women of her village in September 2003 and raped them for days.

With power and land at issue, Sudan’s central government “is stoking racial and ethnic animus more than it ever has been in Darfur history,” said Eric Reeves, a professor at Smith College in Massachusetts and one of the leading academic experts on Sudan. “It’s the animating feature of the war … on African tribal groups,” Reeves said.

In southern Sudan, the common word for non-Arab Africans today among the Arab elite remains “abid,” or slave. In Darfur, in Western Sudan, non-Arab Africans often are referred to as “zurga,” which translates as “black,” but is thought of more as a slur, Reeves said.

GENOCIDE EMERGENCY: DARFUR, SUDAN (April, 2206), Sadly, the continuing Darfur genocide is but the latest evil committed by the Sudanese regime, which since 1983 pursued similar policies in South Sudan. The people of the South, like Darfur, are black Africans, including the Dinka, Nuba, and Nuer peoples, but unlike the Darfuri, they follow Animist and Christian beliefs, rather than Islam. This added a religious dimension to the southern conflict. At the base of both genocides is the Bashir regime’s racism. The Arab Gathering, a shadowy Nazi type brotherhood deeply embedded in the Bashir regime, preaches a doctrine of Arab supremacy and a Sudan “cleansed” of non-Arabs.

The Secret Reasons of the Darfur Genocide: fake Arabic imposed on Non-Arabs, In the very beginning Nobatia was the stronger state, especially because after the middle of the 7th century and the Islamic occupation of Egypt, the south of Egypt escaped totally from the Caliphate’s authority and was therefore annexed by and ruled from Faras. The good times lasted about 200 years, since the mounting pressure from the Toulounid state of Egypt could not be faced by Nobatia that first lost its territories in Egypt, and second compromised with Makkouria, and even merged with its Christian southern rival. Makkouria controlled for several centuries the south of Egypt and the north of Sudan from the area of Aswan to Khartoum. After its collapse in the 13th – 14th c., Alodia was expanded over the southern provinces of Makkouria, and finally in the 16th century succumbed to the African Muslim state of Funj. http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/viewArticle.asp?articleID=17560

There are two places where the Muslim Brotherhood exercises governmental power-Sudan and the Palestinian territories. That is, where it controls the levers of the state. It seems to me it is worth looking at these states to see how the Brotherhood would govern if given the chance, and to see the real agenda of the organization that claims to represent moderate, modernizing and tolerant interpretations of Islam.

For an excellent summary of why the Muslim Brotherhood is such an important topic, see this new paper by [http://www.futureofmuslimworld.com/research/pubID.72/pub_detail.asp#%22] Hillel Fradkin of the Hudson Institute.

EU rights champion urges Europe to act on Darfur

Tue 4 Dec 2007, 17:44 GMT

[-] Text [+] By David Brunnstrom

BRUSSELS, Dec 4 (Reuters) – The winner of the European Union’s top human rights prize demanded on Tuesday that the bloc take a more active role in resolving the Darfur crisis, saying it could not simply stand by during “genocide”.

Speaking before an EU-Africa summit this weekend, Sudanese lawyer Salih Mahmoud Osman called on the EU to commit troops for a Darfur peace force and help bring rights abusers to justice.

“Europe has always been talking tough about the policies of the government of Sudan, but we don’t see acts,” he told a news briefing in Brussels. “Europe is confused, it is divided on the issue of Darfur. The EU hasn’t any unified political will.”

International experts estimate 200,000 people have been killed and 2.5 million uprooted in Darfur since mostly non-Arabs took up arms in early 2003 accusing Khartoum of neglect. Khartoum says 9,000 have died.

,b>FARROW ATTACKS SUDAN’S ‘CRUEL’ LEADERS 2007-12-04…

Actress MIA FARROW has blasted Sudanese leaders for jailing a British schoolteacher accused of blasphemy, calling their treatment of her a typical act of “palpable insanity and cruelty”.

The UNICEF goodwill ambassador hopes the imprisonment of Gillian Gibbons who was incarcerated for allowing her pupils to name a teddy bear Muhammad will highlight the tyrannical control the downtrodden people of Darfur are forced to live under and, in turn, prompt Westerners to help them.

However, Farrow – who was in London on Sunday (02Dec07) to launch new campaign Fund4Darfur – is outraged that Gibbons’ plight grabbed the headlines when the bigger issues facing the war-ravaged folk of Darfur are still being ignored by the media.

She said, “One white woman in peril with a teddy bear has captured more media attention than the past three years of our brothers and sisters in the Darfur region.

“This is the first genocide of the 21st century and the one genocide that is ongoing as we speak. We have a regime that launched a military campaign on an unarmed population for no other reason than that they are not Arab.” Fund4Darfur will aid the survivors of the fighting between Sudan’s government and Darfur’s rebels, who have been at war for four years, resulting in 200,000 casualties and 2.5 million being forced from their homes.

TV Review: HBO – Sand And Sorrow

December 3rd, 2007 by Simon Barrett

Genocide, it’s just a word, it’s a word that you read in history books. But what does it really mean? Well, if you want to get rid of weeds in your lawn you use a herbicide, if ants are invading your house you likely will use a pesticide. You have probably noticed the use of the word ending ‘cide’. There are lots of words that end with ‘cide’ and I can not think of a single one that is good! A little bit of research reveals that ‘cide’ comes from Latin, and in it’s basic form, it means ‘to kill’. Genocide is the systematic removal of a people, and genocide is what is happening in the Sudan right now.

HBO are definitely making a name for themselves in the documentary world, they are willing to take on projects that the other networks turn a blind eye to. Sand And Sorrow takes a very long hard look at the African country of Sudan, more specifically the Darfur region and the genocide that has been taking place.

Without doubt this is one of the worlds poorest regions, with few natural resources, and no strategic geographic location, no-one seems to want to help the people. I may be cynical, but I am sure that if Darfur had oil, the world powers would be breaking their necks to help.

Sand And Sorrow explores what is happening in Darfur, and the findings are not good. This is not about religion, everyone is Muslim, this is about Arab versus Non Arab. The Arab led government in Khartoum is systematically killing the non-arab population of Darfur, moving village by village the militia are killing and raping their way through the region. It is estimated by some that the number of dead exceeds 400,000.

This is must see TV, produced and narrated by George Clooney, this is both a disturbing and frighting look at a situation that we, as decent people should not allow. Sand And Sorrow pulls no punches and the footage that is used is horrific. It not only shows the current status of the Sudan but explores the history and the West’s apparent apathy toward the problem. The US comes out of this in a very poor light, because Khartoum is on board with the ‘War on Terror’ the US is loath to intervene, the other world body that could help is the UN, but they are portrayed as a toothless Bulldog, growling and snarling, but unable to act for fear of veto by China or Russia.

This is indeed a very sad situation.

I am involved on the fringes of the education system here in Canada, and one of the groups I work with is the Immigrant Youth Organization, these are primarily young people who are refugees, many of who are from the Sudan. I had noticed how reticent they were to discuss their previous lives, through Sand And Sorrow I now understand why. They have lived through a nightmare that is unbelievably shocking.

Sand And Sorrow premiers December the 6th at 8pm on HBO. There is an accompanying web site which contains some interesting background, and a short trailer. If you cannot receive HBO or cannot make the airing you will be able to watch it in its entirety online between December 7th and 9th. After Rwanda I was convinced that the world had learned a lesson, but The Sudan is living proof that we have not.

Darfur is atop Don Cheadle’s agenda

Dec 2, 2007

…Cheadle knows the Navy origins of that phrase, “not on my watch,” the idea being that “if something bad happens while I’m on duty, I’m responsible.” He wants to be responsible, and he’s willing to do the lobbying and legwork to put pressure on the Arab government of Sudan to stop burning African, non-Muslim Sudanese out of their homes and villages.

Castes in Africa
Countries in Africa who have societies with caste systems within their borders include Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Algeria, Nigeria, Chad, Ethiopia and Somalia.
The Osu caste system in Nigeria and southern Cameroon are derived from indegenous religious beliefs and discriminate against the “Osus” people as “owned by deities” and outcastes.
Caste systems in Somalia mandate non-Arab descended “outcastes” such as Midgan-Madhiban, Yibir, Tumal and other groups deemed to be impure and are ostracized from society. Similarly, the Mande societies in Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Ghana have caste systems that divide society by occupation and ethnic ties. The Mande caste system regards the “Jonow” slave castes as inferior. Similarly, the Wolof caste system in Senegal is divided into three main groups, the Geer (freeborn/nobles), jaam (slaves and slave descendents) and the outcasted neeno (people of caste).
Genocide in Africa Revisited.
Stanton is adding his voice to those of observers at the United Nations, Amnesty International, and other human rights organizations who are sounding the alarm that an episode of ethnic cleansing is fast spiralling into outright genocide.
Almost a million black Africans have been displaced from Darfur through the violence of government-backed thugs animated by the same combination of Arabic and Islamic zealotry that made Sudan such a congenial host country for Usama bin Laden and his fellow mujahadeen in the years following the overthrow of the Soviet puppet regime in Afghanistan.
The quest to expand the realm of Arabic supremacy into the Aboriginal territory of black Africans is going forward in Sudan through the mass slaughter of civilians, systemic gang rapes, and the looting and burning of whole villages. The majority of the survivors are being held in virtual concentration camps within southern Sudan

African Liberation of Mauritania Speak on Slavery and Genocide (on evil Arabization – Arab racism)

The African Liberation Forces of Mauritania Speak on Slavery and Genocide
Tuesday, 17 October 2006

The African Liberation Forces of Mauritania Speak on Slavery and Genocide in the Sahel, not only to free Mauritanians from racism and slavery but also to build a more democratic country. The Arab-dominated regime does not want to do anything to bring peace in Mauritania.
We cannot really talk about democracy when 120,000 refugees are left behind, and we cannot talk about democracy when people are enslaved. Before organizing elections in Mauritania, we must free those who are still enslaved, and bring the refugees back. That is our position.
The Arab-dominated regime does not want to do … those two governments (Sudan & Mauritania) went to the same school—the school of Arabization. The professor was Saddam Hussein, and the doctrine was developed in Egypt by Nasser. They follow the pattern of Baathism and Nasserism. In the color of their skin they may not be Arabs, they may be Black. But they want to be Arab, and they follow this policy of Arabization in Mauritania and Sudan.

In 1964 the world’s newspapers wri tten about the deportation of the 400 000 Nubians from the Lower Nubia (Egyptian sector) by force. The deportation, and total transference, however, was quite arbitrary and illegal.

Racist Society
The Nubian novelist, Hajjaj Adoul, argued that there is severe racism within the Egyptian society at all brackets and classes, giving as evidence the nonexistence of a dark-skinned broadcaster in Egyptian media. Adoul accused the Egyptian society who vanished into the White West, showing hubris towards the black in a bid to offset this imbalance.
Adoul affirmed that within Egypt, dark-skinned people are treated as slaves, or predecessors of slaves, despite the fact that slaves belonged to all races not the black race alome. Egypt is suffering from an egotism based on color, he added, that is both inherited and imported, giving as evidence the wide circulation of ‘Antara’ and ‘Abu Zaid el-Hilali’ biographies (legendary black Arab poets and warriors) among Egyptians. Our countries, he added, occupied as they were by the Europeans feel inferior to them in terms of physical beauty: we always believe that typical beauty is measurable to Europeans. Mr. Adoul further argued that Egyptian minds totally reject to classify Egypt among the African nations, and that they keep cursing the West then, ironically enough, immigrate there.
The Egyptian society is really racist; Egyptian urban areas are egotistic over the rural areas; both Upper Egyptians and peasants are always depicted as laughing stock. Racism, thus, is deeply rooted in the Egyptian society, he affirmed. Eastern Chad and Darfur have a similar ethnic make-up, with nomadic Arab groups and black African farmers both seeking access to land and scarce water points.

Killing Jews in Iarael
Racism plain and simple. And despite
efforts by supporters of Palestinian terrorism to justify the murder of innocent
civilians as national liberationor by any other euphemism, this case proves that
the Palestinian terrorists targeting of Jews and only Jews – as many as possible
– is little different in intent than otherr forms of lethal or exterminatory
anti-Jewish murders (I dont use the term anti-Semitic only because some Arabs
claim that because they too are Semites, they cant be anti-Semitic). Obviously
the numbers are different, because Israel is capable of defending its Jewish
citizens, but if it were not, the goal of Palestinian terrorist groups would not
be very different from that of previous groups intent on murdering as many Jews
as possible.
The websites of various Palestinian terrorist groups proclaim –
usually only in English and almost never in Arabic – that they have no quarrel
with the Jews, only with the Zionists. Yet they target every Jew, regardless of
his or her individual political views, and they apologize when they accidentally
kill a non-Jew, regardless of his political views. The racist acts of these
terrorist groups speak louder than their sanitized English-only anti-Zionist
websites.

Another myth is to describe Arab intentions as “moderate,” even in the face
of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
A third assumption is the
“fellowship fallacy”-that the Palestinians share Jewish values, goals and
positions. Some Israelis have met informally or in public forums with high-level
individuals from the territories who are connected to the PLO. The Israelis hear
more nuanced statements about the conflict in these discussions than are usually
heard from the PLO leadership. These words are then interpreted as reflecting
what the PLO would agree to in negotiations with Israel. Such was the case after
informal discussions with Faisal Husseini. In October1989, Husseini proclaimed,
“The Palestinian Peace Camp has won, and now leads the PLO and the Palestinian
people.”
In the speeches quoted above there was no doubt that the Arab’s
ultimate goal was the destruction of Israel. The attitude toward Husseini
demonstrated the willingness of many Israelis to overestimate words of
encouragement and to underestimate the contradictory and inflammatory rhetoric
he said to others. This scenario continued under Yasser Arafat whose guarantees

A European Union-sponsored
conference on “Racism, Xenophobia and the Media” being held today in Vienna does
not include anti-Semitism on its agenda, despite flagrant anti-Semitism in the

anti-Semitism appears to have been made in an effort by the European Union, to
appease Muslims. Since Muslims attending the conference are sure to
dragout their bigoted Zionism = racism line, israel has decided to not attennd

The Dance of Deception… the real dynamic is that Israel is the target of
highly organized and funded racism. The targeting of Israel is a continuation of
the racism Jews have experienced in the Arab world for over a thousand years, a
racism that currently manifests in the form of organized terrorist attacks,
misinformation campaigns, manipulation of the UN in demonizing Israel, and the
global promotion of the goal of destroying the Jewish-majority state. Part and
parcel to the organized targeting of Israel is the mistreatment of Palestinians
by most of the Arab world, used as pawns by openly imperialistic Arab regimes in
their racist campaign against Israel.
Israel’s economic success, largely
self-generated, is depicted in the misinformation campaign as the consequence of
Palestinian suffering. But the real dynamic is that oppressive, terrorist
regimes, such as the one that rules Palestinian society, undermine the potential
for eventual prosperity. Prosperity does not always depend on colonial
exploitation, and suffering and poverty do not result only from foreign-based
oppression.
Had the public been accurately and historically informed, it
might have demanded that pressure be put on Arab regimes to give equal rights to
Palestinians, as well as women and minority ethnic groups, in their countries,
and to stop supporting or funding or organizing terrorism against Israel. The
public might have demanded safety for Jews who live in Arab-majority lands,
including the Palestinian territories. Activists might not have limited their
concern to those Palestinians who lost their lands upon fleeing invading Arab
armies in 1948; they might equally have demanded fair compensation for Middle
Eastern Jews and their descendants whose land and property were confiscated by
Arab countries fifty years ago. Concerned activists might have organized against
Palestinian terrorist groups, and their networks of support (granted, a more
difficult and dangerous activity than organizing against Israel). If such
international pressure worked, Israel’s existence would no longer be threatened,
Jews would perhaps be able to live in safety in Arab majority lands, and Israel
would have no reason to maintain the occupation.

Colombia

August 6, 2006 ? Bogot᠖ Anti-Semitic and anti-Israel graffiti was found
in the area around the Israeli Embassy. The spray-painted vandalism included a
Star of David intertwined with a swastika and the slogans, ?F***ing Jews,? ?Jews
Nazis,? ?Put an end to the Nazi/Imperialist occupation ? Free Palestine,? and
?No more Israel.?

France

November 8, 2006 ? Gagny ? Unknown arsonists set fire to the ground floor
of the Merkaz Hatorah Jewish school in a northern suburb of Paris. The fire was
quickly extinguished. The school was similarly attacked in 2003. No injuries
were reported, and police have initiated an investigation.

September 13, 2006 – Paris ? After identifying him as Jewish, four students
attacked a 13-year-old boy in his suburban middle school, sending him to the
hospital. Legal action was being taken against the assailants.

August 2, 2006 ? Saint-Quentin ? A synagogue was vandalized. Panes of glass
were broken, chairs were overturned, a silver item of worship was stolen, and a
Star of David was covered in black ink.

May 28, 2006 ? Paris ? Members of a black extremist group marched through a
Jewish quarter in central Paris shouting anti-Semitic slogans. Police broke up
the march. Security was increased in the area.

March 12, 2006 ? Paris ? Vandals broke into a synagogue in the Paris suburb
of Sarcelles and threw religious objects to the ground. Police were
investigating.

March 6, 2006 ? Lyon ? A Jewish pupil was attacked and kicked in the face
by four youths. Police placed the youths in custody for violence and injury
?with anti-Semitic character.?

March 4, 2006 ‘Sarcelles’ A 28-year-old Jewish man was beaten by youths
who made anti-Semitic remarks during the assault. The man suffered a dislocated
shoulder. The police have arrested four suspects.

March 3, 2006 ? Sarcelles ? A 17-year-old Jewish man, the son of a local
rabbi, was attacked by two men. The victim suffered a broken nose. The incident
occurred near the synagogue of Sarcelles in a district known as ?Little
Jerusalem,? where there is a sizable Jewish community.

March 3, 2006 ? Sarcelles ? An 18-year-old Jewish man was attacked by a
group of five men, who threw him to the ground while shouting insults and
anti-Semitic threats. They escaped with the victim?s cellular phone.

February 13, 2006 ? Bagneux ? Police believe the kidnapping and murder of a
young Jewish man in Paris was motivated by anti-Semitism. Ilan Halimi, 23, was
found naked, tortured and burned south of Paris after being held for three weeks
by a gang demanding a large ransom. He died of his injuries shortly afterwards.
On February 23, French police arrested 12 of the members of the gang. Another
suspect was arrested in Belgium. During the investigation police reportedly
found literature linking some suspects to Muslim causes and there are
indications that the torture and killing was an anti-Semitic crime. Interior
Minister Nicolas Sarkozy on February 21 described the crime as anti-Semitic in
nature.

January 9, 2006 ? Cr鴥il ? Two Jewish boys wearing yarmulkes were attacked
in front of a train station in Cr鴥il, a Paris suburb. The 11- and 12-year-olds
were approached by four men of African and Arab origin, who hurled anti-Semitic
epithets at them before striking one of the boys to the ground and holding the
other forcefully. One of the victims suffered a broken nose. Police arrested
four suspects in the assault.

January 7, 2006 ? Sarcelles ? A synagogue was vandalized, with the words
‘Juden raus’ (‘Jews get out’) and ‘Death to Sharon’ etched into the roof. A man
later confessed to using an ice-pick to vandalize the building.

The Arab position on details flows from their racist assumption of
superiority and absolute refusal to accept a Jewish right to self-determination.

[2002] Arab cartoons, especially in the Egyptian press, depict Jews as
hook-nosed schemers seeking world domination. … At the Durban Conference on
Racism, the Arabs openly passed out anti-Semitic cartoons and literature,
including the infamous “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” At issue was Israeli
racism. Israel is made up of people from 102 countries. Arab states are, well,
Arab.
