The following cited massacres are by by no means a ‘list’ of the humongous broad history of crimes against humanity where Arab-Muslims have been targeting the unarmed innocent Israelis, men, women and children. These are only a few publicized sad examples where children were specifically targeted.

Early in the morning, the bus departed from Avivim heading with its passengers to two local schools. This route had been scouted by the militants, believed to have infiltrated from Lebanon, and an ambush was set up. As the bus passed by, ten minutes after leaving Avivim, it was attacked by heavy gunfire from both sides of the road. The driver was amongst those hit in the initial barrage, as were the two other adults on board. The three were killed as the bus crashed into an embankment as the attackers continued firing into the vehicle.

The children, who were in first to third grade, were buried in a special plot in Safed. A monument commemorating the victims of the attack stands in the middle of the moshav.

Terrorism: How Democracies Can Defeat Domestic and International Terrorists, Benjamin Netanyahu defines it this way: “Terrorism is the deliberate and systematic assault on civilians to inspire fear for political ends.” PLO terrorists sought to victimize children as one of their most devastating weapons of fear against Israel. Perhaps these two examples will indicate how these people operate. In April 1974 three terrorists entered a school in Kiryat Shmonah, a town in northern Israel. Unknown to the terrorists, the schoolchildren were away on a trip. So the terrorists used the weapons intended for the massacre of the schoolchildren on nearby residents, killing eight adults and eight children in an apartment building close to the school. Israeli soldiers trapped the terrorists inside the building, but the Palestinians were killed when their own explosives were detonated.
In May of that year, Palestinian terrorists struck another northern town, Ma’ alot. During the early morning hours the terrorists fired on motorists, killing an Arab woman; then they murdered an entire family asleep in their home.

Nine years after the Sbarro massacre – Jerusalem Post

By FRIMET ROTH
08/09/2010 11:34

We, the bereaved families who feel the pain of terror every day must remind Israelis what ‘releasing prisoners’ for Gilad Schalit entails.

It’s been nine years since my daughter Malki was murdered in the suicide bombing of Jerusalem’s Sbarro restaurant and terrorism denial is still rampant.

[…] This campaign could not have galvanized so many – some estimate 200,000 joined its eleven-day march to Jerusalem last month – without the groundwork laid by terrorism denial. Were the faces of the 1,000 innocent Israelis murdered during the second intifada still fresh in Israelis’ minds, warnings about the dangers of a mass prisoner release would not be dismissed as casually and as persistently as they are being now.

The statistics are chilling. According to government numbers, some 45 percent of released terrorists return to terrorism, while the rate of recidivism among Hamas members is 63%. And yet these numbers impact fewer and fewer Israelis.

[…] Ahlam Tamimi is one prisoner that Hamas wants freed. As a woman, she garners much sympathy for their cause. The mere mention of “woman” and “prison” in one sentence is a surefire tearjerker.

But here are the facts. Tamimi is a mega-terrorist. She is responsible for the deaths of fifteen men, women and children, all of them civilians. She transported 10 kg of explosives hidden in a guitar case into west Jerusalem, handed them to her accomplice and escorted him through the city center disguised as a Western tourist. She led him to the target she herself had selected, an eatery filled with families eating lunch. She then warned her “weapon” to wait fifteen minutes before he detonated the bomb – allowing her enough time to escape unharmed.

After her conviction, Tamimi smiled with pleasure upon learning from an interviewer how many children she murdered. She told Ynet: “I am not sorry for what I did. I will get out of prison and I refuse to recognize Israel’s existence… Discussions will only take place after Israel recognizes that this is Islamic land.” She has served only six years out of sixteen consecutive life terms.

[…] Here is “the face of a beautiful Israeli” I would like this country to see today. It’s the face of a fifteen-year-old girl who cared passionately about disabled children and volunteered with them in myriad settings. Who loved and nurtured her own profoundly disabled sister unconditionally. Who studied the flute for years and played classical music on it that brought tears to my eyes. Who kept a diary throughout the last year of her life in which she detailed her activities in school and in her youth movement. Who recorded alongside those anecdotes the names of the victims of every terror attack perpetrated that year. Whose wish for the coming new year, which she did not live to see, was that her family remain close and supportive of one another. It is the face of my daughter, Malki, z”l.

On August 9th for the last eight years, I have urged others to remember the Sbarro bombing and its fifteen victims. One of them was Malki. Five others were the members of one family, a mother, father and three of their eight children. Another victim was an only child who was pregnant with what would have been her parents’ first grandchild. One of the “injured,” not even counted among the fifteen dead, is a young mother who has remained in a deep coma since that day.

This year, I beg you not only to remember them but to also to remind another person, someone who may have fallen prey to terrorism denial.

The author is a freelance writer in Jerusalem. She and her husband founded the Malki Foundation (www.kerenmalki.org) in memory of their daughter Malki who was murdered in the Sbarro restaurant massacre in 2001.

Arab-Islamic “Palestinians” [disguised as “soldiers”] in a cold blooded shooting spreee of 4 Israelis – go after and murder 5 year old Danielle Shefi, in her bed… April, 2002

Danielle Shefi, five years old, was one of four victims in an attack at the settlement of Adora, near Hebron, in April 2002. The terrorists shot her while she was playing in her parents’ bedroom together with her two younger brothers.

Killed in Her Cradle
New York Post April 28, 2002 — An adorable 5-year-old Israeli girl was slaughtered in her bed yesterday – her mom looking on in horror as her daughter’s blood spilled out across the covers. The girl, Danielle Shefi, was one of four Israelis slain when Palestinian gunmen, disguised as Israeli soldiers, sneaked into a West Bank Jewish settlement and moved house to house spraying people with bullets, as many residents were attending Sabbath services in a temple.

Shefi was killed when three cold-blooded gunmen infiltrated the Adora settlement, just west of Hebron, through a perimeter fence at about 9 a.m. local time.  Danielle’s cop father, Yaakov Shefi, said his wife, Shiri, was cuddling with their daughter and two small sons in an upstairs bedroom when gunmen burst into their home and opened fire.

“Anyone capable of looking a 4-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl in the face and then shooting them is not human,” said Yaakov, fighting back tears of sadness and anger. “Shiri saw our daughter breathe her last breath.”

After hearing gunfire in the distance, Shefi said he rushed home from the temple and found two of the gunmen, clad in Israeli army uniforms. “I thought they were soldiers,” he said. “I asked them, ‘What’s happening? Is everything all right?’ They opened fire at me.”  Another gunman shot his way into a nearby home, blowing away Katya Greenberg, 45, in her bed and wounding her husband, Vladimir, and 14-year-old son, Nathan.  The dead also included two men, ages 20 and 50, who were gunned down in the street.

Anat Harari was one of eight people wounded in the attack, the latest Arab massacre since Israel launched the four-week-old military campaign to hunt down Palestinian militants – and just a day before a U.N. fact-finding team is set to arrive in the area.

“I am on the floor, bleeding in a pool of blood,” Anat tearfully recounted.

“The terrorist tried to enter the house . . . He passed from window to window and didn’t stop shooting.”

The ruthless attackers escaped, but one of them was fatally shot in the neighboring Arab village of Taffuh in a massive manhunt launched after the bloodbath.

Israeli officials condemned the Sabbath slaughter – and said it only strengthens their resolve to crush the Palestinians.

“We will show all the world the beds in which innocent people were murdered by the Palestinians on the Sabbath, so the world will know where the massacres are taking place,” said Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, Israel’s defense minister…

US condemns killing of five Israelis in Itamar attack

By REUTERS
03/12/2011 18:55

White House calls on PA “to unequivocally condemn this terrorist attack and for the perpetrators of this heinous crime to be held accountable.”

WASHINGTON – The United States on Saturday called the stabbing deaths of five Israelis in the West Bank settlement of Itamar a terrorist attack and urged the Palestinian Authority to “unequivocally” condemn the killings.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the murder of five Israelis in a terrorist attack in the northern West Bank, and we offer our condolences to their loved ones and to the Israeli people,” the White House said in a statement.

A Jewish couple and three of their children were stabbed to death in Itamar on Saturday in what Israeli officials said was an attack by a Palestinian who broke into their home in the early hours.

“There is no possible justification for the killing of parents and children in their home,” The White House said.
“We call on the Palestinian Authority to unequivocally condemn this terrorist attack and for the perpetrators of this heinous crime to be held accountable.”

Five Israelis murdered by Palestinians at Itamar were Gaza evacuees
DEBKAfile Special Report March 12, 2011, 9:53 AM (GMT+02:00)

The five members of the Israeli family murdered at Itamar on the West Bank, Friday night, March 11, have been identified as Udi Vogel, 38, the father; his wife Ruth Vogel, 35, their sons Yoav, 11 and Elad, 3 and their four-month old daughter Hadas. The three children who survived are Roi, 8, Yishai, 2 and their sister Tamar, aged 12, who found the victims when she arrived home later that night.
The family moved to Itamar after Jewish communities were forcibly evicted from the Gaza Strip in 2007 as part of the Sharon government’s disengagement plan.
The terrorists had broken through the fence guarding the sleeping settlement and entered the Vogel home through an open window without raising an alarm.
Military and police units fanned out to hunt the perpetrators and set up checkpoints. Hamas websites hailed the murder as a “heroic operation,” without taking responsibility.

Massacre of Jewish Babies, Children in Israel Lacks Condemnation As Netanyahu Demands UN Action

By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency

Jerusalem, Israel
March 12, 2011 ….. Part of the following was communicated by the Israel Government Press Office to the Israel News Agency.

As many in Israel shed a tear, they shake their heads and question: “how can an animal stab a 4-month-old baby to death”?

Most of the world’s nations remain quiet, few condemnations have come forth as Islamic Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah have poured out onto the streets to celebrate the terror attack in West Bank town of Itamar, in which five family members were murdered in their sleep. These “democratic” and “peace loving” nations are quick to grab headlines in criticizing the natural growth of cities and towns in the West Bank – Judea and Samaria – but when it comes to the innocent blood of Jewish children, they are nowhere to be seen.

Arab oil over democracy and basic human rights?

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated this evening: “I would like to express my deep outrage, outrage which is certainly felt by every Israeli over the murder of a young family – father, mother, eleven-year-old boy, four-year-old-boy and four-month-old girl.”

“Three orphaned children have been left in this family. One of the girls saw her parents and siblings stabbed to death. The family was brutally murdered in their sleep on the Sabbath. We embrace and support the orphans and the other members of the family. We embrace and support our brothers who reside in Judea and Samaria. Do not be disheartened. I know that this is a difficult time for us, but the entire nation is with you. Since the disaster, this awful murder, became known I have held discussions with Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Israel Defense Forces Chief-of-Staff, Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz, ISA Director Yuval Diskin and other senior security officials. I instructed them to make every effort to find the murderers and not to rest until they have been found and brought to justice.”

Netanyahu added: “I expect the international community to sharply and unequivocally condemn this murder, the murder of children. I have noticed that several countries that always hasten to the UN Security Council in order to condemn Israel, the state of the Jews, for planning a house in some locality, or for laying some tiles somewhere have been dilatory in sharply condemning the murder of Jewish infants. I expect them to issue such condemnations immediately, without balances, without understandings, without justifications. There is no justification and there can be neither excuse nor forgiveness for the murder of children. I expect a similar condemnation, and I demand a similar condemnation, from the Palestinian Authority. I am disappointed by the weak and mumbled statements. This is not how one condemns terrorism. This is not how one fights terrorism. See how Israeli prime ministers, myself among them, have reacted in similar situations, but there has never been anything like this, in which terrorists entered a home and cut children’s throats.”

“This requires sharp and unequivocal condemnation. This requires something else. This requires a halt to the incitement. I demand that the Palestinian Authority stop the incitement that is conducted on a daily basis in their schools, mosques and the media under their control. The time has come to stop this double-talk in which the Palestinian Authority outwardly talks peace, and allows – and sometimes leads – incitement at home. The time has come to stop the incitement and begin educating their people for peace.”

Israel’s Prime Minister concluded: “Despite all the awful pain, I call upon all Israelis to act responsibly, with restraint, and not to take the law into their own hands. When one takes the law into his own hands, there is no law. The IDF and the security forces will carry out their responsibilities; only they. We will not allow terrorism to determine the settlement map. The settlement map will be determined by Government policy, which is in accordance with our national interests, with security first and foremost. Terrorism will not determine the settlement map. We will determine it.”

Udi Fogel, 36, his wife Ruth, 35, and their children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4 and Hadas, 3 months were all stabbed to death.

The funeral for the five members of the Fogel family, murdered in a terror attack in the West Bank town of Itamar on Friday night is scheduled to take place in Jerusalem on Sunday.

Rafah residents hand out candy following murder of parents, three children in West Bank settlement of Itamar. Palestinian PM denounces act, says “we categorically oppose violence and terror, regardless of victims’, perpetrators’ identity”

Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah hit the streets Saturday to celebrate the terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Itamar where five family members were murdered in their sleep, including three children.

Residents handed out candy and sweets, one resident saying the joy “is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank.”

Arab Racism & Islamic Bigotry

10, 2007 FrontPageMag

All minorities living within the Arab world are under siege. Tunisian human rights activist Muhammad Bechri has traced this to the “twin fascisms” – his term – that dominate the Arab world, Islamism and pan-Arabism.

(Re: Jimmy Carter) Sudan and Israel’s suffering of Arab Racism
http://geraldahonigman.com/blog.php?id=P98

Muslim Judeophobia is not as is commonly claimed a reaction to the Mideast conflict but one of its main “root causes.” It has been fueling Arab rejection of a Jewish state long before Israel’s creation.

The ‘other’ in Islamism

…On the one hand, Hamas displays an ‘almost blind hatred’ and racism against Jews, partly inspired by European antisemitism (Milton-Edwards, 1996: 185). Israel, Jews and Zionism are viewed as one entity. On the other hand, Hamas discusses Israel in a religious perspective and regards Jews as a dhimmi people. The conflict between Palestinians and Israelis was not solely between two peoples, but between believers and non-believers. Ultimately, it was a conflict between ‘right’ and ‘wrong. ‘good’ and ‘evil’.

History Upside Down: The Roots of Palestinian Fascism and the Myth of Israeli Aggression
In the United Nations, on university campuses, and among a growing number of our most prestigious Western newspapers, the historical record has been rewritten so thoroughly that Israel is seen as the worst of the oppressive Western occupiers of the Third World. So successful has this propaganda campaign been that Palestinian spinmeisters and their apologists have effectively declared the Israelis, a people living in the shadow of the Holocaust, to be “Nazis.” How could this happen? How did unacceptable anti-Semitism morph into justifiable anti-Zionism, and odious Jew-hatred turn into a politically correct Israel-hatred? In History Upside Down, David Meir-Levi exposes the ideological DNA of Palestinian nationalism and its ludicrous “alternative” histories, revealing how Nazi fascism gave the Arab world’s amorphous hatred of the Jews an intellectual structure and how Soviet communism masked its genocidal intentions with the mantle of national liberation.
Meir-Levi then explodes the cornerstone myths that the Palestinian movement created–myths that rationalize and celebrate decades of unremitting terror and genocidal ambitions, turning the history of the Middle East upside down and inside out, making the victim the aggressor and the aggressor the victim. History Upside Down is the first wave in a counterattack against this Arab war on history. It rejects the idea that the basic situation in the Middle East has changed since the United Nations first established the Jewish state and the Palestinian state that would have stood alongside it. Sadly, argues Meir-Levi, the issue in the Middle East is today what it has been since the Muslim invasion in the seventh century: the Arabs’ hatred of the Jews.

Arab racism must go – There will be no peace around here before Arabs view Jews as human beings.
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3478505,00.html

It’s about the bigotry … Make no mistake: Arab racism is killing Jews. These bigoted myths and conspiracy theories brainwash Palestinian children to commit suicide bombings against Jews. Innocent children play death games, such as collecting “martyr” cards with pictures of suicide bombers.”

Racism in the Islamic World: How can peace prevail in the Middle East in the face of Islamic bigotry and hate?
http://www.factsandlogic.org/ad_94b.html

What role does bigotry play in the Arab-Israeli conflict?
Al Da’wa (The Mission), a prominent Islamic publication, identifies the status of Israel with the status of the individual Jew. Here, Israel is merely the Jew in macrocosm: “The race is corrupt at the root, full of duplicity, and the Muslims have everything to lose in seeking to deal with them; they must be exterminated.”
Following are some recent statements by senior PA officials, all of which are flagrantly anti-Jewish and several of which incorporate sordid anti-Jewish stereotypes…
– Palestinian representative Nabil Ramlawi at a session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, Jerusalem Post, March 17 1997.
The theme of Palestine as the grave of Israel and of the Jews in general is a persistent motif in Arab orientations toward Israel. Here the following claim, made by Dr. Yahya al-Rakhawi in Al-Akhbar, the organ of Egypt’s Liberal Party, on July 19, 1982, is typical:
“When the State of Israel was established and…was recognized by many, in both East and West, one of the reasons for this recognition was the desire of the people in the East and West to get rid of as many as possible of the representatives of that human error known as the Jews. Behind this motive was another, secret purpose: to concentrate them in one place, so that it would be easier to strike at the right moment.”
The Peel Commission Report stated in 1937 [Q: When was Israel established? A: 1948] that the conflict between the Arabs’ and the Jews’ aspirations is “irrepressible” and “irreconcilable” and that it is “difficult to be an Arab patriot and not to hate the Jews.”
The hatred never subsides. It is developed and nurtured every hour, every day through all possible means. It is encouraged in kindergartens, schools and universities where the Arab children and youngsters learn that the Jews are their enemies. It is preached in mosques where the “Zionist entity” is presented as an eternal threat to the Moslem world. It is flourishing in refugee camps where the Jews are known as “the usurpers and barbarians that have expelled the ‘poor’ Palestinian Arabs from their homes.” It is pouring like venom from newspaper pages in every Arab country.
New blood libels are created and the old ones are revived. The Arab world has an enemy–Israel. Anything bad that is happening is blamed on Israel. This is why, after the decision of the German government to reconsider its ties with Iran, due to killings in Germany of members of the Iranian opposition, a demonstration several hundred thousand people strong was staged in Iran under a slogan, “Death to Israel!”

Egyptian cleric: The Jews “are enemies not because they occupied Palestine. They would have been enemies even if they did not occupy a thing.” [March 6, 2009 ]

They keep telling us that it isn’t about “stolen land,” and that land concessions and even the creation of a Palestinian state will not end the conflict. And we keep refusing to believe it.

“Egyptian Cleric Muhammad Hussein Ya’qoub: The Jews Are the Enemies of Muslims Regardless of the Occupation of Palestine,” from MEMRI TV, January 17 (just posted), with thanks to Sr. Soph:

Following are excerpts from a speech delivered by Egyptian cleric Muhammad Hussein Ya’qoub, which aired on Al-Rahma TV on January 17, 2009.

Muhammad Hussein Ya’qoub: If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. We will never love them. Absolutely not. The Jews are infidels not because I say so, and not because they are killing Muslims, but because Allah said: “The Jews say that Uzair is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that Christ is the son of Allah. These are the words from their mouths. They imitate the sayings of the disbelievers before. May Allah fight them. How deluded they are.” It is Allah who said that they are infidels.

That’s Qur’an 9:30.

Your belief regarding the Jews should be, first, that they are infidels, and second, that they are enemies. They are enemies not because they occupied Palestine. They would have been enemies even if they did not occupy a thing. Allah said: “You shall find the strongest men in enmity to the disbelievers [sic] to be the Jews and the polytheists.”

Qur’an 5:82.

Third, you must believe that the Jews will never stop fighting and killing us. They [fight] not for the sake of land and security, as they claim, but for the sake of their religion: “And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you back you’re your religion, if they can.”

Qur’an 2:217.

This is it. We must believe that our fighting with the Jews is eternal, and it will not end until the final battle and this is the fourth point. You must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the Earth.

It is not me who says so. The Prophet said: “Judgment Day will not come until you fight the Jews and kill them. The Jews will hide behind stones and trees, and the stones and tree will call: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him except for the Gharqad tree, which is the tree of the Jews.” I have heard that they are planting many of these trees now. […]

That Hadith can be found at Sahih Muslim 6985.

As for you Jews the curse of Allah upon you. The curse of Allah upon you, whose ancestors were apes and pigs.

That’s Qur’an 2:62-65; 5:59-60; and 7:166.

You Jews have sown hatred in our hearts, and we have bequeathed it to our children and grandchildren. You will not survive as long as a single one of us remains.

[…]

Oh Jews, may the curse of Allah be upon you. Oh Jews… Oh Allah, bring Your wrath, punishment, and torment down upon them. Allah, we pray that you transform them again, and make the Muslims rejoice again in seeing them as apes and pigs. You pigs of the earth! You pigs of the earth! You kill the Muslims with that cold pig [blood] of yours.

And now the learned analysts will turn to one another and repeat once again that the Israeli/Palestinian conflict has nothing to do with theology, nothing to do with Islam.

Racism and Middle East Politics
… As the Imam said, ‘Israel must be wiped off the map.’ Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as quoted by Aljazeera
Anger towards Israel by its Arab neighbors is out of proportion to Israel’s sins.
What we are witnessing in the Middle East is anti-Semitism, not politics. It is Jew-hatred, not a dispute over borders or rights or Palestinian statehood. This present conflict is the direct result of Arab racism and Arab intolerance.
As long as middle-eastern Arabs teach their children to hate Jews, there will be no lasting peace.

We who once held a similar disdain for black people should understand better than most what sort of challenges the Middle East faces. Generations have been taught hatred. Generations have been taught that Jews are not human beings. Generations have been taught that every piece of bad fortune has Jewish conspirators at its heart.
That sort of irrational racism can’t be eliminated by UN resolutions. It can only be reversed by sane and tolerant Arabs who are willing to speak out against their brothers.
And they better speak out soon…
I doubt that peace in the Middle East is possible. I doubt that an entire generation of Arabs will come to repent of their anti-Semitic hatred. Jews make useful whipping boys for the powerful but incompetent Arab leaders who can’t make the trains run on time, or provide decent lives for their citizens.
Until Hezbollah and Iran and Syria agree that Israel has a right to exist, and that Jews have a right to live in peace, Israel needs the protection of the West against the Hitlerian plans of the powers that surround it. The West, which has learned a few hard lessons about the evils of racism, needs to come to Israel’s defense.

Israelism defines its borders, respectful of alternative cultures. Arabism is rogue and misinformed, it believes that all cultures must adopt its ideologies.

Iraqi Author ‘Aref ‘Alwan: The Jews Have an Historic Right to Palestine…
‘Alwan writes that the Arab League is to blame for the refusal to recognize the 1947 U.N. partition plan, for starting a war to prevent its implementation, and for the results of that war, which the Arabs call the Nakba (disaster).
He points an accusing finger at the Arab regimes, the Arab League, and the educated circles in the Arab world, saying that they had all used the term “nakba” to direct popular consciousness toward a cultural tradition that neither accepts the other side nor recognizes its rights – thereby promoting bigotry, violence and extremism. He also claims that there have been attempts to rewrite Palestinian history, in order to deny any connection between it and the Jewish people…

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict The Middle East conflict is clearly not about the occupation of the West Bank … The root cause of the conflict is, and always has been, Muslim bigotry.

“The Nile: histories, cultures, myths,” Hagai Erlikh, I. Gershoni, Lynne Rienner Publishers, 2000 (ISBN 1555876722), p. 194

Much more important was the work by the Lebanese Druze, Amir Shakib Arslan. Arslan was by far the most important figure in the context of Mussolini’s infuence in the whole Middle Eastern arena. He undertook to spread the world of the Duce, and to exploit the Abyssinian crisis in order to inspire the younger generation in the Middle East to revolt against the French and the British. He hoped that such an uprising would enhance pan-Arabism, esepcially his brand, namely Arabism with a strong element of Islamic identity and solidarity. In the dozens of articles published in 1935, Arslan depicted Ethiopia as a historical enemy of Islam, an oppressor of its own Muslims, an enemy of Arab language and culture. A skilled historian, he combined the negative messages of radical Islam with the modern message of fascist propaganda. Most of Arslan’s work was published primarily in Syrian, Lebanese, and Palestinian papers; nevertheless. he had his share in the Egyptian press and was widely read in Egypt.

Apartheid today practiced by Muslims

StandWithUs has a computerized booklet that first defines South African apartheid and then discusses equivalent apartheid by the Palestinian Arab Muslim and Muslims elsewhere.

Blacks are caught and enslaved by Arabs in Sudan. [Those that are not dispossessed or murdered, that is.]

Under the heading of “gender apartheid” are honor killings of females and Iran’s execution of thousands of homosexuals. But the government’s borrow from the South African practice of enforcing the various types of Muslim Arab apartheid by brutal force.

Saudi Arabia flogged Christians for practicing their religion publicly. Christianity is discouraged but allowed if kept apart from the rest of society.

North African Arab states practice discrimination against native Berbers, though they are Muslim. [Saddam attempted genocide against the native Kurds of Iraq, though they are Muslims, too].

Then there is the Muslim Arab notion of Jews being inferior beings [like Nazi racism], leading to persecution of them [and expulsion of about 850,000].

Arab states exclude Palestinian Arab refuges from citizenship. Lebanon bars them from many occupations. They have been segregated.

Muslims in Egypt sometimes kidnap Christian children [and women] and forcibly convert them.

As for the Arabs in the Territories, they rule themselves. Israel does not rule them (StandWithUs )

The booklet mentioned Arab states expelling Palestinian Arabs, but that wasn’t segregation, that was self-defense. The Palestinian Arabs tried to overthrow or help Saddam overthrow their host country.

Isn’t it interesting that one does not hear protest over that real expulsion of Palestinian Arabs done by Arabs. One only hears protest over the non-expulsion of Palestinian Arab refugees from Israel. Such a selective ethical code does not seem ethical at all. It is a pretext.

Among the photographs were those of women murdered by Muslim relatives, even in the U.S., for being too Western or dating non-Muslims. It was pathetic, even heart-breaking, not just illegal.

Some readers accuse me of not caring about injustices to Arabs. If they read my articles, they will find that I report injustices to Arabs, but I find this is by Arabs to Arabs. These same readers never once showed any concern about that.

Some readers accuse Israel of racism. But the Arabs are the aggressors and Israelis the victims and defenders. Israelis see the conflict as a matter of defense or of territorial adjustment. By contrast, the Arab cause is religious, and the religious view is that Jews are inferior beings genetically disposed to bad character. That is racist. No one such reader ever denounced the real Muslim Arab racism. Their name-calling is not just poor upbringing, it is unjustified.

or

PPT Palestinian Propaganda Terminology

The “Palestinian propaganda” greased by Arab oil & boosted up by terrorizing the west, has been “busy” for decades by producing bombastic phrases, terms in order to slur the democratic ‘Jewish’ state, ranging from plain ridiculous to simply outrageous lies.

The first more noticeable attempt (in the 1970’s) by the Arab Muslim infested anti-Jewish bigotry was to coin [instead of the outside world declaring the truth about this intolerant society, about: racism of Arabism or the bigotry of Islamism] the outrageous phrase: Zionism – racism. Using its oil & market power insinuating to other (mainly African & Asian) nations that “they better get along”, they have been poisoning the international atmosphere with “the new Anti-Semitism.”

With time, some PPT terms have become “acceptable” as in ‘Arab lobby money buying writers,’ enter: Carter… (Jimmy Carter and the Arab Lobby, How Arab money fuels Carter’s hate),‘example, what anti-Israel Apartheid Arab world has coined on democratic multi-racial, pluralistic Israel & its fight for survival as: “apartheid”, even though J. Carter admitted on CNN that Israel is really an equal free to all democracy (I recognize that Israel is a wonderful democracy with freedom of speech and equality of treatment under the law between Arab Israelis and Jewish Israelis.” [CNN, June 12, 2006]) and that his intention of using that radical language was ONLY to bring attention (I use the word provocative not in a negative sense, but just to provoke debate and to provoke discussion [CNN, June 11, 2006]), yet, the damage was done.

Ridiculous as it sounds, the “last” word in the baloon language is no less but: “genocide”, (heck yea, forget the real genocide today by racist Arabs in the Sudan, or the ongoing open declarations by Arab Muslim “resistance” leaders to wipe off Israel, but rather) every failed attack on Israeli civilians is considered a “massacre” and if it’s a few in one season it is conveniently called: “genocide”, the intent is clear, to shock! As the Arab Muslim backed dictator in Venezuela “does what he is told”, he (in the anti-terror op. in Gaza) accused Israel’s government of “genocide” when IDF was “fed up” with 8 years of Arab “Palestinian” Hamas attacking Israeli kindergartens with missiles while recently in Gaza using Arab women & children as human shields which –naturally– cause deaths (Synagogue attack stokes Jewish fears that Chavez is inspiring anti-Semitism in Venezuela, Venezuela’s Jews Fear More Attacks – ABC News ).

Or in the power grab by the Eurabia-immigrants, Arab Muslim militant “activists” getting a hold on Malmo Sweden – so strongly that in order to “have” their support the mayor of Mamlo had to say some really stupid things. (Malmö: Muslim antisemitism, Mayor of Malmo, Sweden: Zionism is Racism, Jews flee Malmö as anti-Semitism grows) as Arab racism & Islamic Anti-semitism burns in Sweden – causing ethnic cleansing of Jews

How Strong Is the Arab Claim to Palestine?

Lawrence AusterOctober 01, 2004

There is a myth hanging over all discussion of the Palestinian problem: the myth that this land was “Arab” land taken from its native inhabitants by invading Jews. Whatever may be the correct solution, let’s get a few things straight: As a strictly legal matter, the Jews didn’t take Palestine from the Arabs; they took it from the British, who exercised sovereign authority in Palestine under a League of Nations mandate for thirty years prior to Israel’s declaration of independence in 1948. And the British don’t want it back.

[…] The Jews, meaning the people of the Kingdom of Judah, who, in their earlier incarnation as the Israelites, seized the land in the 12th and 13th centuries B.C. from:The Canaanites, who had inhabited the land for thousands of years before they were dispossessed by the Israelites. As the foregoing suggests, any Arab claim to sovereignty based on inherited historical control will not stand up. Arabs are not native to Palestine, but are native to Arabia, which is called Arab-ia for the breathtakingly simple reason that it is the historic home of the Arabs.

The territories comprising all other “Arab” states outside the Arabian peninsula including Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria, as well as the entity now formally under the Palestinian Authority were originally non-Arab nations that were conquered by the Muslim Arabs when they spread out from the Arabian peninsula in the first great wave of jihad in the 7th century, defeating, mass-murdering, enslaving, dispossessing, converting, or reducing to the lowly status of dhimmitude millions of Christians and Jews and destroying their ancient and flourishing civilizations. Prior to being Christian, of course, these lands had even more ancient histories. Pharaonic Egypt, for example, was not an Arab country through its 3000 year historyhttp://mideastoutpost.com/archives/000096.html

THE MYTH OF THE SO-CALLED “PALESTINIANS”: …

[…] OK. Let’s talk about displaced people. The Land of Israel (whom the gentiles call Palestine) was a Jewish country since the arrival of Abraham. There was always a Jewish presence there. In the years 70 CE and 135 CE, the Romans forcefully removed large numbers of the Jewish population from the LOI and brought them to Rome as slaves.

Nevertheless, the LOI continued as a Jewish country according to G-d’s promises. During the 4th century, the Roman Empire became Christian, and Rome turned the LOI into a Byzantine country in which non-Jewish were brought in and settled by Rome. During the 5th century, there was an economic depression in the Eastern Empire and some of the Jewish population moved to neighboring countries to earn a living. At the same time, Rome encouraged more and more gentile Christians to take up residence in the country. Still, the majority of the population was Jewish.

During the 7th century, the newly converted Arab Moslems came up out of the Arabian Penninsula and conquered the LOI, driving out the Byzantines. Many of the native population, both Jewish and non-Jewish were forcefully converted to Islam and the country was forcefully ARABIZED. Those Jews still living there had pressure put upon them to become Moslems. Some did become Moslems and lost their Jewish identity. Those individuals of the population that became Moslem were ARABIZED. That is, they took up the Arab language and for all purposes were acculturated to “look like” Arabs.

From the 7th century onwards, LOI was an ARAB-SPEAKING country. That does not mean that the people living there were “real Arabs”. They were not. They were, in fact, descendants of the original Jewish population and of the Greek speaking population that the Byzantines imported to Christianiize the Land.

Towards the end of the first Christian millenium, the Land was under the control of the Turkish Moslems. From the time immediately following the First Crusade, the Land fell into a sad state. The Turks misuded it economically and ecologically. A once fertile Land under Jewish rule now became a forrest-denuded, malarial swamp. Many people, both Jews and non-Jews left. Most of them were gentiles. The population thinned out. Hardly anyone lived there. The Land was administrated by absentee Turkish landlords. It had became a non-productive province and the Turks didnt care one fig about it. They had more lucrative and productive lands to administer. Starting in the 1500s thru the 1900s, Jews from Europe returned in waves to the LOI. They found a small non-Jewish population scattered here and there throughout the Land. These people were of various nationalities. None of them called themsleves “Palestinians”. There was no such entity. The Land was still ARABIZED and the returning Jews were loyal to the Turkish masters. They did everything possible to restore the Land because they loved in a way that no gentile inhabitants had. They cleared much of the swampland and planted trees and made the Land fertile again. The Turks gave them no thanks. The gentile inhabitants had never done anything like that. They had been content to just let the Land go to hell.

As the Land became productive under the hands of the returning Jews, it became more viable and economically productive. The presence of the Jews and their productivity created jobs. Gentile Arabs from the surrounding lands began to pour into LOI to finf work. The Turks encouraged this because they didn’t want the Land to become “too Jewish.” Beginning in the 19th century, the Turks encouraged Moslems from various countries to come to the LOI, promoising them free land if they did. Many Moslems took up the offer, many of them from BOSNIA came and settled there. THESE WERE EUROPEAN MOSLEMS THAT TOOK ON LOCAL ARAB COLORING AND ASSIMILATED INTO THE NON-JEWISH POPULATION, THEREBY BECOMING “ARABS”.

The Turks then began the policy of restricting the Jews to certain areas of the Land, giving the more favored area to Moslems. Much of this area consisted of the present day Judea and Samaria, the so-called “West Bank of Palestine”. After the First World War, when the British conquered the Turks, they took the LOI away from the Turks and made it a British “protectorate”. They continued to call the Land “Palestine” and called EVERY INHABITANT IN IT, BOTH JEW AND GENTILE, “PALESTINIANS”. That name was an English invention just as the “ARAB” inhabitants of the Land had been a TURKISH INVENTION. In those 2 centuries, 19th and 20th, NO ONE WAS DISPLACED EXCEPT JEWS!!!

The British then proceded to do what they have done everywhere they have gone, divide and conquer. They promised both the Jews and the non-Jews that the Land would be given to their communities, but because they were very interested in oil and had a basically anti-Jewish attitude, they favored the “Arabs”. The first thing they did was stop all Jewish immigration into the country while they allowed and encouraged gentile immigration. Nationalism was on the rise. The non-Jewish Arabized population of the LOI wanted a national identity and they were content to take the name and identity imposed upon them by the Turks and the British, namely “Palestinians”. The Jews did not need to take that identity. They had their own G-d given identity.

The leadership of the “Palestinian” nationalist movement needed a rallying focus, so they used the commonality of religion. Islam became the focus of “Palestinianism”. In 1929, a pogrom was organized in Hebron. Every member of the Jewish community there was murdered, man, woman, child. The British knew who the instigators were. They did nothing to apprehand them. In 1936, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem called for another pogrom against the various Jewish communities of the LOI. By that time, the Jews of the LOI had obtained weapons for their own self defense. They fought back. The British moved through all the Jewish areas and confiscated all weapons they found in the hands of Jews. They left the weapons of the Arabs alone.

It was a known fact that the British did not like the Jews because the Jews refused to act like good colonial third world natives. They considered themselves the equals of the British. The British could not stand it. They were used to treating all colonials as second class citizens. The Jews said to them, “We are not natives. We are as good as you.” The British did not like that at all. They could depend on the Arabs to act like good little dark skinned boys. That made them comfortable. AND the surrounding Arab countries had OIL!!! Why irritate them by irritating their co-religionists in the LOI?

In order to placate the Arabs, the British told the Jews that they were NOT going to hand over the “whole land of Palestine” to them, only the “west bank of Palestine.” Do you know how the “Palestinian leadership rewarded the British?” They signed a deal with the Nazi Germans to advance the German cause in the Middle East. War between Germany and Britain was immanent and everyone knew it. The Germans promised the Arabs that if they would ally themselves with Germany, they (the Germans) would solve the “Jewish problem” for the Arabs at the war’s conclusion. The Jews remained loyal to the British government. It didn’t matter one whit. In order to gain back the Arab sympathies on the eve of war, the British assured the Arabs that no further Jewish immigration into the Land would be allowed. Ships carrying Jews from Europe tried to enter “Palestine”. The British refused them entry and forced them to return to a Europe where the gas chambers awaited them.

WW II broke out. The Arab sympathy was with Germany. They prayed for a German victory. Anwar Sadat, later to become President of Egypt, became a German spy and anti-British terrorist. The Grand Mufti was to be put under arrest by the British but he escaped andfled to Germany, spending the duration of the war there. During the war itself, Jews tried to enter “Palestine” to escape from the Nazis. The British turned them away. After the war, the British continued their policy of not letting Jews enter even though many DISPLACED European Jews had no where else to go.

At this time, the UN wanted the British to give up their mandate on “Palestine”. The British further renegged and told the Jews that only part of the “West Bank” would be theirs. They would have to share the area with the non-Jewish residents. The Jews agreed. The Arabs did not. THEY WANTED THE WHOLE LAND FOR THEMSELVES.

The surrounding Arab countries ] told the non-Jewish residents of the Land that when the British left, their armies would come in and drive the Jews into the Sea. The non-Jewish population was encouraged to evacuate the Land in order to open the way for the Arab armies to operate. Many of them did just that, hoping to come back immanently to a land JUDENREIN. The Bitish left in May, 1948. Israel declared itself a state in the truncated area that the British had left them. Five Arab countries attacked Israel. The Jordanian army moved into the area of the “West Bank” that was to become the “Palestinian” state, and instantly annexed it to Jordan. No one protested. Jordan ruled the “Palestinian” state for 19 years. No one protested and said that the “Palestinians” were displaced and had to have their own country.

For 19 years the Jordanians treated their West Bank people like second class citizens. They were denied 3 basic rights. They were not allowed to open factories in the west bank, they were not allowed to build universities on the west bank, no west bank “Arab” was allowed to have a driver’s license. No one protested. The Jordanians denied Jews access to their holy places in Jerusalem. No one protested. The Jordanians took tomb stones from Jewish cemetaries and turned them into lutrines. No one protested.

In May, 1967, Egypt and Syria got together and declared war on Israel, threatening to drive the Jews into the Sea. No one protested. King Hussein of Jordan called upon his “Arabs” in the west bank to get knives and kill every Jew that they found. The Israelis warned the Jordanians that if they entered the war, Israel would take the west bank away fomr them. Jordan entered the war and lost the west bank that it had illegally annexed 19 years earlier. The Israelis found evidence of inhumane treatment of people in the West Bank by the Jordanians. No one protested. Everybody was busy protesting against the Israeli “aggressor” and the “poor displaced Palestinians”.

Some people have all the propaganda luck. The bleeding heart liberal media went anti-Israel to sell more newspapers. The Soviet Union took up the “Palestinian” cause to win the Arabs over to their side in the cold war. From 1967 until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Israel acted as the best ally of the United States, handing over the latest in captured Soviet weaponry to America, asking nothing in return. Israel was repaied by the anti-semitic State Dept of the USA by being pressured to give back territory to the “poor Palestinians”. Meanwhile one thing remains to be told. In 1948, when Israel bacame a state, there were Arabs living there. The Israelis granted them full citizenship. No Arab was asked to leave Israel.

That same year, Arab countries, including Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Lybia, and others KICKED OUT THEIR JEWISH CITIZENS AND MADE THEM LEAVE ALL THEIR EARTHLY BELONGINGS BEHIND! No one protested.

You call yourself a Christian and you grieve for the poor displaced Palestinians? You are just one more gentile hoodwinked by the Arab propaganda mill, abetted by the anti-Israel media who want to sell newspapers, and the Oil company whores who think oil is more important than justice. Cry your crocodile tears, sister. Don’t expect any sympathy from me. The fact that you allow your sympathy for the poor mistreated “non-jews” of the Middle East to over-ride your concern for Biblical prophecy tells me a lot about the so-called Christians in this country who claim to be Bible believers. You are Bible believers so long as it is not good for the Jews. And the hell with real justice and G-d’s word.

ADDENDUM June 22, 2003 – Incidently, there never was a national or geographical entity called “Palestine” in the historical sense that we usually ascribe to nations or geography. “Palestine” was the designation given to the Land Of Israel by the Romans when they incorporated it into their Empire as a province. They named it after the Philistines, the traditional enemies of Israel, in order to humiliate their new Jewish subjects. Since the Arabs living in the Land Of Israel insist that they are the descendants of the ancient Caananites, why don’t they refer to themselves as Caananites rather than Philistines? Substantial Immigration of Arab Migrant workers into Western Palestine from 1880-1948 http://www.eretzyisroel.org/~peters/immigration.html

MYTH “The British helped the Jews displace the native Arab population of Palestine.”

FACT

Herbert Samuel, a British Jew who served as the first High Commissioner of Palestine, placed restrictions on Jewish immigration “in the ‘interests of the present population’ and the ‘ absorptive capacity’ of the country.”1 The influx of Jewish settlers was said to be forcing the Arab fellahin (native peasants) from their land. This was at a time when less than a million people lived in an area that now supports more than nine million. The British actually limited the absorptive capacity of Palestine by partitioning the country. In 1921, Colonial Secretary Winston Churchill severed nearly four-fifths of Palestine — some 35,000 square miles — to create a brand new Arab entity, Transjordan. As a consolation prize for the Hejaz and Arabia (which are both now Saudi Arabia) going to the Saud family, Churchill rewarded Sherif Hussein’s son Abdullah for his contribution to the war against Turkey by installing him as Transjordan’s emir. The British went further and placed restrictions on Jewish land purchases in what remained of Palestine, contradicting the provision of the Mandate (Article 6) stating that “the Administration of Palestine…shall encourage, in cooperation with the Jewish Agency…close settlement by Jews on the land, including State lands and waste lands not acquired for public purposes.” By 1949, the British had allotted 87,500 acres of the 187,500 acres of cultivable land to Arabs and only 4,250 acres to Jews.2 Ultimately, the British admitted the argument about the absorptive capacity of the country was specious. The Peel Commission said: “The heavy immigration in the years 1933-36 would seem to show that the Jews have been able to enlarge the absorptive capacity of the country for Jews.”

MYTH “The British allowed Jews to flood Palestine while Arab immigration was tightly controlled.”

FACT

The British response to Jewish immigration set a precedent of appeasing the Arabs, which was followed for the duration of the Mandate. The British placed restrictions on Jewish immigration while allowing Arabs to enter the country freely. Apparently, London did not feel that a flood of Arab immigrants would affect the country’s absorptive capacity. During World War I, the Jewish population in Palestine declined because of the war, famine, disease and expulsion by the Turks. In 1915, approximately 83,000 Jews lived in Palestine among 590,000 Muslim and Christian Arabs. According to the 1922 census, the Jewish population was 84,000, while the Arabs numbered 643,000. Thus, the Arab population grew exponentially while that of the Jews stagnated. In the mid-1920s, Jewish immigration to Palestine increased primarily because of anti-Jewish economic legislation in Poland and Washington’s imposition of restrictive quotas.5 The record number of immigrants in 1935 (see table) was a response to the growing persecution of Jews in Nazi Germany. The British administration considered this number too large, however, so the Jewish Agency was informed that less than one-third of the quota it asked for would be approved in 1936.

The British gave in further to Arab demands by announcing in the 1939 White Paper that an independent Arab state would be created within 10 years, and that Jewish immigration was to be limited to 75,000 for the next five years, after which it was to cease altogether. It also forbade land sales to Jews in 95 percent of the territory of Palestine. The Arabs, nevertheless, rejected the proposal. Jewish Immigrants to Palestine… By contrast, throughout the Mandatory period, Arab immigration was unrestricted. In 1930, the Hope Simpson Commission, sent from London to investigate the 1929 Arab riots, said the British practice of ignoring the uncontrolled illegal Arab immigration from Egypt, Transjordan and Syria had the effect of displacing the prospective Jewish immigrants. The British Governor of the Sinai from 1922-36 observed: “This illegal immigration was not only going on from the Sinai, but also from Transjordan and Syria, and it is very difficult to make a case out for the misery of the Arabs if at the same time their compatriots from adjoining states could not be kept from going in to share that misery.” The Peel Commission reported in 1937 that the “shortfall of land is…due less to the amount of land acquired by Jews than to the increase in the Arab population.” http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/myths/mf2.html

British Opposition to Jewish Immigration to Palestine … But throughout the Mandatory period, Arab immigration was unrestricted. …http://palestinefacts.org/pf_mandate_oppose_immigration.php

…The Israelis have been in a position of extreme restraint since day one, because the British always considered the Jews provocateurs just because they were there. They treated the Arabs as natives in the Jewish national home, and, they allowed Arabs to come in illegally and take places that were being frantically cleared by Jews for other Jews to come from Hitler’s Germany. It’s a very concise and very traceable history. If you trace it, it loses the complicated factor and it becomes quite clear. http://christianactionforisrael.org/isreport/janfeb01/findingtruth.html

Myths: False Premises… 4) The Arabs were there first; it was Arab land. 5) The Jews ‘stole” the Arab land….7) Palestine is Israel; and all Israel constitutes Palestine. “In 1948 Palestine became Israel”. 8) Only Jews immigrated into Palestine; whereas Arabs were natives for millennia.

Facts: The Reality:

C) Even after the Roman defeat in 70 A.D. the Jews (with their Zionist dream) never vacated the Holy Land.

D) The area known as Palestine covered areas both East and West of the Jordan; and the Arabic-speaking people there thought of themselves as Syrians, Turks, or simply “Arabs”… but never as “Palestinians”.

E) The Arabs did not begin to think in terms of “nationalism” until early in the 1900’s. Even T.E. Lawrence was not able to inject them with “nationalism” as late as World War I.

F) Islamic religious prejudice often resulted in anti-Jewish violence, throughout the Middle East, even before Israel became a state in 1948.

G) The British later described these religious persecutions as being “Arab Nationalism”, so as to justify limiting Jewish immigration from Europe.

H) The British illegally “gave” Mandate lands (specifically allocated for a Jewish national home) to the Arabs instead.

I) The Arab peasants had been rendered landless by their own Arab landlords, natural disasters, excessive taxes, and Arab money lenders.

J) In 1923 Britain illegally gave Abdulah 77 percent of Palestine (the whole “East Bank”) to protect rights to Arab oil, and the Suez canal, etc. for purposes of the British Empire. This created Transjordan; which became Jordan in 1946.

K) Thus, Jordan is the “independent Palestinian state” in the area; and was carved out of what was to become Israel.

L) In 1947 the UN further carved up the 23 percent west of the Jordan, into Israel, another Palestinian state (which the Arabs rejected) and an internationalized Jerusalem.

M) The Jews accepted the UN proposal; the Arabs did not.

N) The UN has changed the definition of “Refugee” for the Arabs only; who therefore need only be in the land two years to qualify.

O) The homelands to which many Arabs fled in 1948 and 1967 include lands from which many of them had recently come. http://christianactionforisrael.org/isreport/septoct99/factmyth.html

______________

Palestinian nationalism is the biggest scam in history. The Arabs are not native to Palestine. They’re native to Arabia. Why do you think so many ancient Palestinians have names like Al Masri and Al Mugrabhi? Is the arabic language native to Palestine? The ancient Palestinians are people that migrated from Egypt, Syria and elsewhere to find jobs that the Zionists created as they were building up desolate and barren Palestine 1870-1948. And Arabs continue to migrate to Israel to this day! http://cgis.jpost.com/Blogs/rosner/entry/who_s_israel_is_it

By “Bushbadee” Jedi Knight A little history seems in order here. First and formost we should remember that Israel did not invade those territories, the Arabs did. Second that Israel has occupied that land for over 3500 years. Third the racists are the Arabs who want all the Jews out of the land they claim while 1.2 million Muslim arabs live at peace in Israel/ But let us come up a few thousand years and look at this past century. First off, the only arabs who owned land in Israel were the Turkish Pashas and Egyptian offendi’s The arabs that were there were for the most part share croppers. There is an excellent Historic novel about this and the arabs flight from Israel and it is called “The Haj” by Leon Uris. Most of the arabs in Israel entered starting in 1922.Hardly any one lived in Israel prior to that from 1886 to post 1915/There was a series of 6 locust plauges which just about wiped the country out. Some 40,000 people died of starvation in the 1915 plauge. If any one would like to see it from an origonal source, I have a copy of the Dec 1915 issue of National Geographic and will send a copy of the article to any one who requests it of me at my address below. In about 1885 the first large scale immigration into Israel occured.Yes it was by Arabs, but these arabs were Jews. Some 3000 Jews left Yemen when the goverment of Yemen declaired that all children of Jewish families were to be taken from them and raised as MUslims. The Yeminite Jews fled, settled in Israel and started the first collective farm there. Now as more ‘Zionist money poured into Israel to support the Jews through the locust plauges, more arabs also poured in to get the jobs that were now available. Most of them make more in a month than they made as tennant farmers so they abondoned the farms and went to work for the Jews. This did not make the arab land owners very happy. Most arabs that entered Israel settled near Jewish communities by a factor of 10 to 1. In 1922 a pipeline was started. This brought a huge influx of arabs into Palistine EY. (That was the proper name as used by the british on their stationary, not Palistine.)Some 300,000 entered legally between 1922 and 1942.Another 300,000 entered illegally across the desert. There were not many controls except at the ports keeping the Jews out. If you look at stamps from Palistine EY at the time, you will lfind that Hebrew is one of the languages on the stamp, proving the land had a large Jewish population and the name Palistine EYEY = Eretz Yisroel. So the fact is that most of the so called Palistinians are rather late in entering Israel and are not native to the land. Now the next big migration into Israel by Arabs occured after the 1948 war. UNRA built refugee camps for the Arabs. They were supplied with housing, food, money, medical care and many other things they did not have before. The only requirement to enter a camp was that you had resided in Israel for 2 prior years.Comparitively, the living the camps was pretty good at the time, so suddenly arabs from all the neighboring countries became Palistinian refugees, There was a large surge of Arabs into the country. Hey what would you expect Free food. Oh I almost forgot.Palistinians.Prior to about 1968 if you called any of these arabs Palistinians, they would have spit in your face. They called themselves “Southern Syrians” for the most part. At least all that knew called themselves that. Another note (If you called an Egyptian an arab, you were liable to get punched in the teeth. My lab parner in college was an egyptian. He make it clear to me, arab was a curse word.) So you see these so called Palistinians are not native to the area.Basically they are squatters trying to take over another country just as they took over Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and many other middle eastern countries..

To answere me personally address mail to bushbadee@msn.com http://forum.bismikaallahuma.org/arab-israeli-conflict/710-palistine-ey-southern-syrians-who-squatted-there.html

Speaking of history, I want to raise another historical prospect that no one seems to talk about. The Arabs are not native to “Palestine.” They Arabs are native to Arabia, now known as Saudi Arabia. They only way they got to this current disuputed area is by… guess what? Jihads, when they swept across the middle east, conquering various cities, brutalizng the natives, and forcibly converting many to Islam. Damascus? Was once a Christian City. Egypt? The native Egyptians, today called the “Copts” are Christians, and second-class citizens to the Muslim Arab rulers. (But don’t expect any of the Israel critics to get upset about the stratification of Egypt. They never shed any tears for the persecution of the Copts.) And Jerusalem too, which was controlled by Christians, with some Jews remaining (as there has been a Jewish presence there for millenium) was also conquered, Churches burned and turned to mosques, dhimmi laws enforced. So tell me… why is the Palestinian Arab more “native” to the region when he got it by conquering and pillaging, then the Jews or the Zionists? He too got there the same way you accuse the Zionist… an accusation which does not even hold water, when you study the prices and money spent when the Zionist bought tracks of land.http://letters.mobile.salon.com/opinion/feature/2006/07/11/gaza/view/index17.html

Israel – National Liberation of the aboriginal Jews from the twin fascisms of pan-Arabism and Islamism

Israel – National Liberation of the aboriginal Jews from the twin fascisms of pan-Arabism and Islamism

…Israel as the result of the national liberation movement of the region’s aboriginal Jews.
Liberation of the aboriginal Jews (and anyone else lucky enough to find refuge within Israel’s borders) from the twin fascisms of pan-Arabism and Islamism which have oppressed and even eliminated so many of the region’s aboriginal ethnic groups.
Israel’s aboriginal Jews were not unique in accepting outside help (and even immigration) in their liberation struggle.
Lebanon’s Maronites, Egypt’s Copts, Iraq and Turkey’s Kurds, and Iran’s Zoroastrians have all sought and received outside help in their liberation struggles, each group according to its own circumstances.

Anti-Zionism is hate, racism, bigotry

March 22, 2009

Anti-Zionism is hate

By Judea Pearl
March 22, 2009

In January, four longtime Israel bashers were invited to the University of California, Los Angeles, to analyze the human rights conditions in Gaza, and used the stage to attack the legitimacy of Zionism and its vision of a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians.

They criminalized Israel’s existence, distorted its motives and maligned its character, its birth, even its conception. At one point, the excited audience reportedly chanted “Zionism is Nazism” and worse.

Jewish leaders condemned this hate-fest as a dangerous invitation to anti-Semitic hysteria. The organizers, some of them Jewish, took refuge in “academic freedom” and the argument that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism.

I fully support this mantra, not because it exonerates anti-Zionists from charges of anti-Semitism but because the distinction helps us focus attention on the discriminatory, immoral and more dangerous character of anti-Zionism.

Anti-Zionism rejects the very notion that Jews are a nation – a collective bonded by a common history – and, accordingly, denies Jews the right to self-determination in their historical birthplace. It seeks the dismantling of the Jewish nation-state: Israel.

Anti-Zionism earns its discriminatory character by denying the Jewish people what it grants to other historically bonded collectives (e.g., French, Spanish, Palestinians): namely, the right to nationhood, self-determination and legitimate coexistence with other indigenous claimants.

Anti-Semitism rejects Jews as equal members of the human race; anti-Zionism rejects Israel as an equal member in the family of nations.

Are Jews a nation? Some philosophers would argue Jews are a nation first and religion second. Indeed, the narrative of Exodus and the vision of the impending journey to the land of Canaan were etched in the minds of the Jewish people before they received the Torah at Mount Sinai. But philosophy aside, the unshaken conviction in their eventual repatriation to the birthplace of their history has been the engine behind Jewish endurance and hopes throughout their turbulent journey that started with the Roman expulsion in A.D. 70.

More important, shared history, not religion, is today the primary uniting force behind the secular, multiethnic society of Israel. The majority of its members do not practice religious laws and do not believe in divine supervision or the afterlife. The same applies to American Jewry, which is likewise largely secular. Identification with a common historical ethos, culminating in the re-establishment of the state of Israel, is the central bond of Jewish collectivity in America.

There are, of course, Jews who are non-Zionists and even anti-Zionists. There are also Jews who find it difficult to defend their identity against the growing viciousness of anti-Israel propaganda.

But these are marginal minorities at best; the vital tissues of Jewish identity today feed on Jewish history and its natural derivatives – the state of Israel, its struggle for survival, its cultural and scientific achievements and its relentless drive for peace.

Given this understanding of Jewish nationhood, anti-Zionism is in many ways more dangerous than anti-Semitism.

First, anti-Zionism targets the most vulnerable part of the Jewish people, namely, the Jewish population of Israel, whose physical safety and personal dignity depend crucially on maintaining Israel’s sovereignty. Put bluntly, the anti-Zionist plan to do away with Israel condemns 5.5 million human beings, mostly refugees or children of refugees, to eternal defenselessness in a region where genocidal designs are not uncommon.

Second, modern society has developed antibodies against anti-Semitism but not against anti-Zionism. Today, anti-Semitic stereotypes evoke revulsion in most people of conscience, while anti-Zionist rhetoric has become a mark of academic sophistication and social acceptance in certain extreme yet vocal circles of U.S. academia and media elite. Anti-Zionism disguises itself in the cloak of political debate, exempt from sensitivities and rules of civility that govern inter-religious discourse, to attack the most cherished symbol of Jewish identity.

Finally, anti-Zionist rhetoric is a stab in the back to the Israeli peace camp, which overwhelmingly stands for a two-state solution. It also gives credence to enemies of coexistence who claim that the eventual elimination of Israel is the hidden agenda of every Palestinian.

It is anti-Zionism, then, not anti-Semitism, that poses a more dangerous threat to lives, historical justice and the prospects of peace in the Middle East.

David Matas, famed human rights lawyer from Canada, in his excellent book Aftershock, written in 2002, reviewed the attacks on Jews and Israel throughout the world, and asked: How could this happen sixty years after the Holocaust? He answers:

“The root cause of the revival of antisemitism is anti-Zionism. Zionism is the expression of the right to self determination of the Jewish people. Anti-Zionism, by definition, denies and rejects this right by denying the right to a state by the Jewish people. Anti-Zionism is a form of racism. It is the specific denial to the Jewish people of the basic right to which all people of the world are entitled.

“Israel exists because of the Holocaust, because of anti-Semitism and as a place of refuge for Jews fleeing persecution, for the cultural survival of the Jewish people and their right to self-determination, because of the ties of the Jewish people to the land of Israel, and because of international acceptance and recognition. The logic of anti-Zionism requires attacking each and every one of these reasons for the existence of Israel.”

She has found a new home in Israel.

She says, "Israel was always the place of our dreams. When we
finally arrived it really felt like the paradise I was promised.

Ismail Khaldi is Israel’s Consul in San Francisco. Ismail is a Bedouin Arab. He says:

Two years ago, a few proud Bedouin Israeli citizens like asked: what is our position and status in the State of Israel
in the midst of its
current situation? After all, Bedouin are part of Israel’s success story. During current times, when Israel is being
attacked and accused of
being a racist state, an ‘aggressor and an oppressor’, we decided that the smallest and probably most effective thing we
could do is to
spread our story as part of Israeli society.

Zionism and Israel- FAQ – Issues and Answers

General Anti-Zionism = racism, Orthodox Anti-Zionism =
piety!

Those that try to confuse
conventional hateful dirty racist anti-Zionism
with
the pure Ultra Orthodox Jewish pious Talmudic
anti-Zionism

Let’s put it this way, there is as much “common ground” between these two
separate anti-Zionism, as any “bond” a Nazi can have with a Jew.

When the famous Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. clarified that anti-Zionism is
racism, he was as right on target as the rest of his famous lines on racism as a
whole.

The cynical use by racist anti-Zionists of ultra-religious-Jewish
anti-Zionism is one of the most misleading treacherous campaign they conduct,
let’s just say that ones that call for a new Holocaust, such as Iranian leader :
M. Ahmadinejad (2006), would be willing to let a few orthodox Jews to survive in
“exchange” for not being seeing as the Hitler he is, in his open plan to wipe
off all of Israel.

Anti-Jewism’s modern name is Anti-Zionism

While Zionism is nothing more than the right of a nation to come back to
it’s historic homeland (and providing refuge also for Jews facing persecution,
to go to their only exclusive country), it has been demonized by both, Islamic
militants & Nazis, to justify their war on the Jews only to wage their
hateful facsist campaign under a more convenient – thus deceiving – banner of
‘Anti-Zionism’, since being openly anti-Jews is not popular any more, the
wrapping of this evil under a “political’ issue might help them disguise their
hidden devious war on all Jews.

All criticism on how it handles terrorists that are bend on genocide on
Israelis, have been used to bash ‘Zionism’, still, it can never change the
original simple basic human idea.

The unique anti-Zionism by the pious

However, anti-Zionism that of Ultra Orthodox Jews, is more of a pure
ideological side, these highly religious highly pacific Talmudic Jews have a
problem with ‘taking manners in their own hands’, oppose any aggression and
provocation, while the vocal orthodox against Zionism are active publicly and
considered fevered anti-Zionists, most orthodox Jews in Israel are more of a
form of passive non-Zionists, as they don’t even serve in Israel’s IDF army, one
of the major reasons is, not to engage in ANY violence, they say it DOES effect
you even if you are only trying to defend yourself.

For the record, the Zionists that were involved in re-establishing the
‘Jewish-State’ in 1948 as well as prior actions towards it, were almost all
secular-Zionists, the ultra religious anti-Zionist Jews tried to appease the
Arabs.

It would be more fare to say that Zionism (& it’s argument) is based
more on history and the Bible, whereas Jewish anti-Zionism is based on the
Talmud interpretation of it.

Whichever way you see it, this dispute in ideology has nothing to
do – of course – with haters’ campaign masked under an ‘anti-Zionism’
rope.

The bigotry of anti
Israel

Facts & Causes

The obvious, or the ‘should be obvious’

This is not really all about the Arab Muslim world, who’s anti
Israel feeling and action is motivated
(not by any feeling to help
fellow Arab Muslims, fact is, the Arab “Palestinians” are persecuted all
throughout the Arab world) by Arab racism (just as the Kurds,
Maronites, Sudanese and other non Arabs suffer from the global
Arabization) & Islamofascism or Islamic-Fascism, the evil ideology
as Tony Blair calls it
(just as non Muslims in general, dhimmi or
kuffars, non-believers suffer, global wide, take it straight from the horse’s
mouth, the Iranian fanatical Islamic leader Ahmadinejad’s call for genocide &
ethnic cleansing on Israel that though has no regional or territorial disputes
with Iran of course, “doesn’t belong on ‘Muslim land’, in the all Muslim middle
east”, this anti-Israel facsism still infects most moderate Muslim countries
that blindly refuse entry to anyone with an Israeli passport).

Nor is it about the few neo/old Nazis that hate all Jews
(even those that tell you they hate “only
Zionists”).

But this is about the bigotry of
anti-Israel infected in the mainstream
.

Jumping to conclusion before knowing the facts

This happens on a regular basis, but a few examples might serve as
highlights if you wish:

The rush into harsh words by UN’s Secretary general Kofi Annan
(before he semi-apologized for it) when some UN officials got hurt in the
cross fire between Huzbullah terrorists and Israeli defense forces (Hezbullah
initiated war and invasion 2006), even after realizing that the UN post was used
by the Huzbullah as a tool.

The overwhelming bashing Israel in Arabs’ deaths, like the very icon the
“Palestinian” propaganda machine used, as in the Arab kid Muhammad al-Dura
(2002), which we all know by now, was nothing more than staged by Arabs
themselves, and it was Arab shooters that killed that boy.

The rushing media in “blaming Israel” for the death of an Arab family on
Gaza beach (2006), again Israel promised/asked to wait until a full
investigation is complete, that concluded it was the “Palestinian” Hamas’ led
mines that brought about that incident.

No matter how many times the media sees the transparency in the fake images
produced and invented by the ‘Palestinians’, “PALLYWOOD” (http://seconddraft.org), it seems to
“forget”, each time a new case appears.

Demanding from Israel the victim of terror more than from the
perpetrator

The words an anti-Israel ‘activist’ told me, resonates throughout this
conflict: “I can’t expect from the Arabs any better, but Israel/ should know
better!”.

In other words, it is part of demanding from the west ever more then from
the Islamic world, when it comes to morality.

The only problem is that it is not presented in this open way, it is
presented as Israel is the “bad” guy, period.

As opposed to endless condemnations by the UN on Israel’s self defense,
When was the last time the UN has condemned the very Arab “Palestinian” crimes
on their own people that they try to pin on Israel, like:

Using it’s kids as human shields (which Huzbullah, in 2006, picked up very
quickly, copied them in their war on Israeli civilians, using Arab civilians)
and as human bombs?

Legitimizing and even glorifying mass murder and genocide as a ‘good holy
act’ in their mainstream and official media?

The Lie of “natives” is bought

How many have fallen prey to the powerful sell of “indigenous” Arabs in the
land of the Judea?

The picture of an all out ‘Arabs in the middle east’, is one of the
misconception misleading clarity of history, never forget that most today’s
‘Palestinians’ have no more than 3 generations “history” in this ancient land of
the Jews.

Absolutely no one has disputed the fact of Arab immigration that saw an
upsurge with Zionists’ immigration (the latter only, limited by the British) in
the late 1800.

The fact that the most “Palestinian” – icon of all time: Yasser Arafat
was an Egyptian born fighting for “his homeland” in Israel… is so
classical.

By the same token, it is not well known the fact that over 50% Israeli
Jews are of children of indigenous Jews in the middle east (http://jimena.org) .

The Global Goliath Islamo Arab power

The very fact that there was so much talk and selecting/picking on one lobby
out of so many different types and different interests – lobbies that operate in
Washington but the utter silence on the enormous Islamo Arab lobby that
basically occupies, threatens, incorporating so many in their anti-Israel racist
boycott, uses oil as a weapon and dictates the international arena, including
the UN, shows you just how great of bully they are.

So is the fear of European nations for unrest by the Arab Muslim
(immigrant) population, (terrorism works!) that effects or rather impairs their
stand on the middle east conflict.

The wrong picture of seeing Israel as the “aggressor” and the
‘Palestinian Arabs’ as the “underdog”

Question # 1:

Who has more power, the cynical Arab adult shooting behind a kid’s back,
behind a woman’s squirt, or the Israeli humane soldier facing a terrible
dilemma?

Question # 2

When you see the biased media showing a tank vs. kid, A) do you ever
stop and think what the message is behind it? B) Does this suggest
that the Israeli soldier is really after an unarmed person? C) Did you ever
stop to think that the very fact that you can see the Israeli soldier but you
can NOT see the Arab terrorist makes the invisible much more of a menace?

Nothing more like the situation in Iraq (2003-2007)
demonstrates that you might have the most powerful army in the world, you are
weaker (in many ways) than the invisible coward terrorists hiding among
civilians that has no rules of basic regards for ANY human lives.

Outrageous use of baseless drama language and hollow bombastic
terms on Israel’s multi-racial beautiful democracy

Take for example the admission of anti Israel Arabist: Jimmy Carter that
(on December , 2006 – CNN) has admitted that Israel is a great democracy with
freedom and equal rights for all, and that (in an interview to Larry King he
said that) he used provocative words like “apartheid” (only) in order to provoke
discussion.

All those bombastic empty words like “racism’ or “apartheid” the
anti-Israel Arab racist propaganda machine is selling, has of course no support
in facts on the ground, there is nothing “racist” about fighting terrorists for
being terrorists, there is nothing “apartheid”, especially that they are the
same Arab race and group, Israeli Arabs and “Palestinian” Arabs, with different
identification cards that has nothing but security implications.

Since when is concern for security considered “racism”?

The same “Judenrein – Palestine” that is trying to ethnic cleanse all Jews,
that does not even permit any Jew to live in their ‘territories’, is lecturing
multi-racial, multi-religion, multi-color Israel, that has all colors and
races from the darkest black to the whitest blond, that has a whopping
20-25% Arabs in it’s population, with equal rights and representations in high
offices (and even more rights than Jews, giving the fact that Israeli Jews
are obligated to serve in the army whereas Israeli Arabs are not).

The racism behind “questioning” Israel’s right to
exist

Can you name one other country that is subject to even a question of
being ‘recognized’?

Why do you think it is?

If you want to talk about history as a supposed reason, 1) Even if you are
a naiive student of ‘Palestinian’ propaganda in revising history, You don’t see
anyone denying the unmistakenly settlers like most European, or American or
Australians right to exist. 2) speaking even about history, for the record:
No matter on which political side you are on, you have no right to deny rights
of a nation to exist, no one can ever erase Jews’ history to the land of Israel,
at the same breath no one can claim that there was ever a sovereign
Arab-Muslim “Palestine”, in fact, the same nazis or Jew-haters that used to tell
the Jews in Europe: ‘Go back where you came from, go to Israel-Palestine’,
the ones continue the evil torch of Nazism today ironically deny the Jews
coming back to their original roots-origin.

The dehumanization of Israeli victims

Seeing Israel as nothing but a “tank”, is another racist element coming
through, in brushing off Israeli victims as a “side details” at best.

When was the last time the BBC (for example) has shown any drama pictures
of injured Israeli kids at a fraction of the time, passion dedicated to any Arab
kid that was killed (usually) because of an Arab adult’s fault?

Can you remember reporters of the mainstream media visiting Israeli
hospitals as much as you can remember them strolling down Arab ones? And Why
not?

Numbers are not the reason, percentage wise you will see time and time
again, Israel loses by far in media’s favoritism.

Myth and Fact: Criticism of Israel & Anti-Semitism?

By Mitchell G. Bard
http://www.JewishVirtualLibrary.org

Myth

“Advocates for Israel try to silence critics by labeling them anti-Semitic.”

Fact

Criticizing Israel does not necessarily make someone anti-Semitic. The determining factor is the intent of the commentator. Legitimate critics accept Israel’s right to exist, whereas anti-Semites do not. Anti-Semites use double standards when they criticize Israel, for example, denying Israelis the right to pursue their legitimate claims while encouraging the Palestinians to do so. Anti-Semites deny Israel the right to defend itself, and ignore Jewish victims, while blaming Israel for pursuing their murderers. Anti-Semites rarely, if ever, make positive statements about Israel. Anti-Semites describe Israelis using pejorative terms and hate-speech, suggesting, for example, that they are “racists” or “Nazis.”

Natan Sharansky has suggested a “3-D” test for differentiating legitimate criticism of Israel from anti-Semitism. The first “D” is the test of whether Israel or its leaders are being demonized or their actions blown out of proportion. Equating Israel with Nazi Germany is one example of demonization. The second “D” is the test of double standards. An example is when Israel is singled out for condemnation at the United Nations for perceived human rights abuses while nations that violate human rights on a massive scale, such as Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia, are not even mentioned. The third “D” is the test of delegitimization. Questioning Israel’s legitimacy, that is, its right to exist is always anti-Semitic (Natan Sharansky, “Antisemitism in 3-D”, Forward, January 21, 2005).

No campaign exists to prevent people from expressing negative opinions about Israeli policy. In fact, the most vociferous critics of Israel are Israelis themselves who use their freedom of speech to express their concerns every day. A glance at any Israeli newspaper will reveal a surfeit of articles questioning particular government policies. Anti-Semites, however, do not share Israelis’ interest in improving the society; their goal is to delegitimize the state in the short-run, and destroy it in the long-run. There is nothing Israel could do to satisfy these critics.

ISRAEL’S NEXT TOP MODEL (you can’t get more multi racial, more multi color than that)

2006 marked the second season of the reality tv competition searching for Israel’s Next Top Model (the show is a knock off of Tyra Bank’s program “America’s Next Top Model”). The three finalists are depicted in this picture. All are Israeli young women. Two are Jewish, one is Muslim. Kristine, the blond model was born in Russia. Mimi, the black model was born in Ethiopia.
Her family belongs to the group of courageous Ethiopian Jews who braved starvation, exposure to the elements, wild animals, brutal marauders and exhaustion to escape Ethiopia by WALKING to the Holy Land. Niral, the brown haired beauty on the left, was born in Israel to a Muslim-Israeli family.
Niral won the competition and is now , Israel’s Next Top Model.

In urgent matters of national survival and geopolitics, words matter. The still generally unchallenged language referring provocatively to an Israeli “Occupation” always overlooks the pertinent and incontestable history of the West Bank (Judea/Samaria) and Gaza.

Perhaps the most evident omission concerns the unwitting manner in which these “Territories” fell into Israel’s hands in the first place. It is simply and widely disregarded that “occupation” followed the multi-state Arab aggression of 1967 – one never disguised by Egypt, Syria or Jordan.

A sovereign state of Palestine did not exist before 1967 or 1948. Nor was a state of Palestine ever promised by UN Security Council Resolution 242. Contrary to popular understanding, a state of Palestine has never existed. Never.

Even as a nonstate legal entity, “Palestine” ceased to exist in 1948, when Great Britain relinquished its League of Nations mandate. During the 1948-49 Israeli War of Independence (a war of survival fought because the entire Arab world had rejected the authoritative United Nations resolution creating a Jewish state), the West Bank and Gaza came under the illegal control of Jordan and Egypt respectively. These Arab conquests did not put an end to an already-existing state or to an ongoing trust territory. What these aggressions did accomplish was the effective prevention, sui generis, of a state of Palestine. The original hopes for Palestine were dashed, therefore, not by the new Jewish state or by its supporters, but by the Arab states, especially Jordan and Egypt.

LET US return to an earlier history. From the Biblical Period (ca. 1350 BCE to 586 BCE) to the British Mandate (1918 – 1948), the land named by the Romans after the ancient Philistines was controlled only by non-Palestinian elements. Significantly, however, a continuous chain of Jewish possession of the land was legally recognized after World War I, at the San Remo Peace Conference of April 1920. There, a binding treaty was signed in which Great Britain was given mandatory authority over “Palestine” (the area had been ruled by the Ottoman Turks since 1516) to prepare it to become the “national home for the Jewish People.” Palestine, according to the Treaty, comprised territories encompassing what are now the states of Jordan and Israel, including the West Bank and Gaza. Present-day Israel comprises only 22 percent of Palestine as defined and ratified at the San Remo Peace Conference.

In 1922, Great Britain unilaterally and without any lawful authority split off 78 percent of the lands promised to the Jews – all of Palestine east of the Jordan River – and gave it to Abdullah, the non-Palestinian son of the Sharif of Mecca. Eastern Palestine now took the name Transjordan, which it retained until April 1949, when it was renamed as Jordan. From the moment of its creation, Transjordan was closed to all Jewish migration and settlement, a clear betrayal of the British promise in the Balfour Declaration of 1917, and a patent contravention of its Mandatory obligations under international law.

On July 20, 1951, a Palestinian Arab assassinated King Abdullah for the latter’s hostility to Palestinian aspirations and concerns. Regarding these aspirations, Jordan’s “moderate” King Hussein – 19 years later, during September 1970 – brutally murdered thousands of defenseless Palestinians under his jurisdiction.

IN 1947, several years prior to Abdullah’s killing, the newly-formed United Nations, rather than designate the entire land west of the Jordan River as the long-promised Jewish national homeland, enacted a second partition. Curiously, considering that this second fission again gave complete advantage to Arab interests, Jewish leaders accepted the painful judgment. The Arab states did not. On May 15, 1948, exactly 24 hours after the State of Israel came into existence, Azzam Pasha, Secretary General of the Arab League, declared to a tiny new country founded upon the ashes of the Holocaust: “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre.”

This unambiguous declaration has been at the very heart of all subsequent Arab orientations toward Israel, including those of “moderate” Fatah. Even by the strict legal standards of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Arab actions and attitudes toward the microscopic Jewish state in their midst has remained patently genocidal. For some reason, this persistence has repeatedly been made to appear benign.

IN 1967, almost 20 years after Israel’s entry into the community of nations, the Jewish state, as a result of its unexpected military victory over Arab aggressor states, gained unintended control over the West Bank and Gaza. Although the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war is codified in the UN Charter, there existed no authoritative sovereign to whom the Territories could be “returned.” Israel could hardly have been expected to transfer them back to Jordan and Egypt, which had exercised unauthorized and terribly cruel control since the Arab-initiated war of “extermination” in 1948-49. Moreover, the idea of Palestinian “self-determination” had only just begun to emerge after the Six Day War, and – significantly – had not even been included in UN Security Council Resolution 242, which was adopted on November 22, 1967.

For their part, the Arab states convened a summit in Khartoum in August 1967, concluding: “No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with it….” The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was formed three years earlier, in 1964, before there were any “Israeli Occupied Territories.” Exactly what was it, therefore, that the PLO sought to “liberate” between 1964 and 1967?

This question should now be raised in connection with the US-sponsored “Road Map To Peace in the Middle East,” a twisted cartography leading to “Palestine.”

THIS HAS been a very brief account of essential historic reasons why the so-called “Palestinian Territories” are not occupied by Israel. Several other equally valid reasons stem from Israel’s inherent legal right to security and self-defense. International law is not a suicide pact. Because a Palestinian state would severely threaten the very existence of Israel – a fact that remains altogether unhidden in Arab media and governments – the Jewish State is under no binding obligation to end a falsely alleged “Occupation.” No state can ever be required to accept complicity in its own dismemberment and annihilation.

Both Israel and the United States will soon have new leadership. Neither Jerusalem nor Washington should be deceived by the so-called “Road Map To Peace in the Middle East,” a twisted bit of highway that makes entirely inaccurate claims about “Palestinian Territories” and “Israeli Occupation.” For substantially documented reasons of history and national security, it is imperative that a twenty-third Arab state never be carved out of the still-living body of Israel.

If anyone should still have doubts about Palestinian intentions, they need look only to former Prime Minister Sharon’s “disengagement” from Gaza, an area that is now used by Hamas to stage rocket attacks upon Israeli noncombatants, and by al-Qaeda to mount future terrorist operations against American cities.
