Some of highlighted mass casualties by (radical) Islam in four decades – 1971-2011 (updated Feb. 2012)

PS
Most Israeli casualties are innocent non-combatants. Most Arab “Palestinian” casualties are combatants and/or involved in violent attacks. Not to mention Arab-Islamic intentional routine in causing deaths on their side via human shields. Same goes to Hezbollah tactics.
In fact: IDF’s unparalleled record of sparing civilians in counter-terrorism operations.

Of course, that’s besides the last bloody decade of over 18,000 Islamic terror attacks since 9/11/2001.

Note: Baathist racist Arab tyrants like Saddam Hussein, used Islam and ‘anti-infidel’ ideology as well.

ISLAMISTS’ GENOCIDE IN SOMALIA – so far – 30,000 CHILDREN DEAD!

September 6, 2011

ISLAMISTS’ GENOCIDE IN SOMALIA – 30,000 CHILDREN DEAD! Islamists refuse [Western] aid to the famine in Somalia. Thousands perish. Many flee.

Al shabaab refuses aid agencies to help the needy Somalis – Shabelle [Jan 12, 2011] MOGADISHU (Sh. M. Network) – Somalia’s Al shabaab movement refused international and local aid agencies to reach droughts affected areas in southen and central Somalia to help the needy Somalis, an Al shabaab official said on Wednesday. Sheikh Suldan Mohammed Ala Mohammed, an Al shabaab official, has told local Mogadishu radios that they will never allow aid agencies to operate in the regions under their control. Ala Mohammed charged those aid agencies with having hidden agendas in which they want to propagate and promulgate the Christianity, adding that they also want to launch brain wash attacks against ordinary people of Somalia.

He went on to say that selling and consumption of drugs to be spread in all Somali regions by what he called Christian relief agencies. He pointed they would also like to confront among Somalis. The statement of that official comes as Al shabaab ahs already banned more than 20 relief organizations from operating in south-central Somalia. Relief agencies serving inside Somalia say aid to millions of Somalis is hampered by the danger that aid workers face and a lack of respect for international humanitarian law by parties to the conflict.

Daily Monitor: – World | Al-shabaab opposes banned groups from returning to Somalia By Abdulkadir Khalif Posted Saturday, July 23 2011 at 00:00 Radical Somali Islamist group al-Shabaab has said organisations already banned in the war-torn country will not be allowed back. Al-Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Ali Mohamoud Raghe alias Sheikh Ali Dhere, said the said organisations were not welcome to Somali, currently facing severe humanitarian crisis. “The organisations that we banned cannot come back,” the spokesman stated Thursday evening. “Such entities are not included among those now invited to provide humanitarian aid,” he added, without naming the affected organisations. Sheikh Ali Dhere was reacting to a report by the United Nations on Wednesday that famine had hit two parts of rebel-held Somalia, due to a severe drought affecting more than 10 million people in the Horn of Africa.

Islamist group in Somalia bans samosas after deciding they’re too Western..’ By Stewart Maclean Last updated at 3:28 PM on 26th July 2011 Somalia’s al-Shabaab group has banned samosas after ruling the popular snacks are ‘offensive’ and too Christian.

Militant Islamist fighters last week used vehicles mounted with loudspeakers to announce the bizarre ruling across the regions of the war-torn country it controls. The extremist group has offered no official explanation for the ban on the triangular snacks, which are commonly cooked up and served across the Horn of Africa… The bizarre ban comes just days after militants linked to Al-Qaida in Somalia refused to let some aid workers into the country as tens of thousands suffered in the nation’s massive famine. Aid groups including the UN Food Programme say they were not given permission by militants to provide aid in the country, where it has been warned that 800,000 children could die from starvation.

BBC News – Somali Islamists maintain aid ban and deny famine – Jul 22, 2011 – Somalia’s al-Shabab Islamists have denied lifting their ban on some Western aid agencies and say UN reports of famine are “sheer propaganda”. The UN on Wednesday said that parts of Somalia were suffering a famine after the worst drought in 60 years. A spokesman for al-Shabab, which has ties to al-Qaeda and controls much of the country, accused the banned groups of being political.

But the UN insists famine exists and it will continue its aid efforts. Most Western aid agencies quit Somalia in 2009 following al-Shabab’s threats, though some say they have managed to continue operating through local partners. Some 10 million people are said to need food aid across East Africa but Somalia is by far the worst-affected country, as there is no national government to co-ordinate aid after two decades of fighting. Thousands of people are fleeing areas under al-Shabab control to camps set up in areas of the capital controlled by the weak interim government, which is battling the Islamist insurgents. The UN World Food Programme (WFP) was one of those banned. [Many Somali mothers have already seen their children die in the drought]

Al-Qaeda Affiliate, not Famine, is Responsible for Somalian Genocide Townhall Columnists Rachel Alexander 9/5/2011 Somalia is in the midst of a famine, suffering from the worst drought in 60 years. 29,000 Somali children have died within the past three months, and 100,000 Somalis are expected to die in the next few weeks. The al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabab has destroyed the country, taking over much of the southern part of the country where it has imposed a strict version of Sharia law. The Taliban-like organization refuses to allow humanitarian organizations associated with the West to provide aid to the starving people. Al-Shabab expelled the U.N.’s World Food Programme, which had provided the bulk of the aid, from much of the country in January 2010, accusing it of being a U.S. proxy. Incredulously, some are blaming the U.S. for the famine, not al-Shabab.

In Somalia – Jihad Uber Alles

Posted by David Meir-Levi

on Aug 17th, 2011 The drought in the Horn of Africa that began in 2009 is the worst in 60 years. But humanitarian aid from the UN, the USA and other countries has prevented mass starvation in the nations of that region, except one. In Somalia that drought soon turned into a famine of unprecedented proportions. To date almost 30,000 children under the age of 5 have died of starvation, according to U.S. estimates. The UN fears that at least 640,000 Somali children are acutely malnourished: a statistic that suggests the death toll of small children could rise to as many as 800,000! More than one million Somalis have fled to Ethiopia and Kenya, where makeshift refugee camps house hundreds of thousands.[1]

One might expect that all Somali leaders and political parties would join forces to help their people survive this enormous tragedy; but one would be wrong. The Somali Muslim terrorists known as al-Shabaab have worked for the past two years to prevent any foreign aid from reaching their Muslim Somali co-religionists, even as tens of thousands of Somali Muslim children die of starvation and hundreds of thousands of starving Muslim families flee al-Shabaab’s reach to find food and water in nearby Kenya and Ethiopia. Harakat ash-Shabaab al-Mujahideen (the “Organization of the Youth Jihad Fighters”), or al-Shabaab (“the lads” or “the youths” in Arabic) for short, is a group of Islamist terrorist jihadis fighting to overthrow the Muslim government of Somalia in order to replace it with a government committed to a more extreme form of Islam and to Shari’a law. The group now controls large swathes of southern Somalia. Its leaders claim that they are waging war against the “enemies of Islam” which includes the present Somali government. Al-Shabaab is an offshoot of Hizbul Islam (“The Islamic Party”), formed to fight the Somali government of President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed.

In December, 2010 Hizbul Islam merged with al-Shabaab to better implement jihad against President Ahmed and his government. Al-Shabaab has been designated a terrorist organization by several western governments. Al-Shabaab leaders formerly denied any connection with el-Qaeda, but early in 2010 they acknowledged that they worked with el-Qaeda forces in Pakistan and Yemen for training and deployment. The U.N. and the USA blame al-Shabaab for the famine, because its terrorist forces, under el-Qaeda influence, have created the single greatest obstacle to humanitarian assistance in Somalia. Thanks to al-Shabaab, the rate of malnutrition in southern Somalia is the highest in the world, approaching half the population, according to CNN. In addition to denying aid workers access to the regions where the drought and famine rage, al-Shabaab terrorists force local Somali Muslim humanitarian organizations to pay “taxes” (aka bribes) in order to be able to funnel food and other supplies to the devastated areas. They demand bribes from U.N. and from aid agency officials to allow them to work in areas under al-Shabaab control. In some cases, al-Shabaab terrorists have burned food stocks and medicine, and have kidnapped or killed charity workers, when bribes were not paid. These “taxes” can be as high as $10,000 for access to the areas al-Shabaab controls.

Then there are the “registration fees” of another $10,000, and payments of $6,000 every six months, as well as 20 percent of the value of all food and other supplies and 10 percent on all vehicles, as a form of “import duties.” Their terrorism pays well; but their extorted wealth and their Islamic jihad agenda come at the expense of the lives of hundreds of thousands, and perhaps millions, of their own people. A gut-wrenching and tragic example of this kind of Islamofascist tyranny is reported in a recent Newsweek magazine interview[2] with a local Somali doctor. Dr. Hawa Abdi is an obstetrician and gynecologist running a clinic near Mogadishu since 1983. Today her medical compound holds 90,000 people, mostly women and children, all homeless refugees fleeing al-Shabaab and the famine. Al-Shabaab’s predecessor, the terrorist group Hizbul Islam, invaded her hospital and camp in 2010 in order to shut her down and take over her property and the hospital, because she is a woman and “…women are not allowed to shoulder any responsibility and authority.”[3] She refused even though they threatened to shoot her. They relented and she kept her medical compound and back-yard refugee camp running. This year however, al-Shabaab leaders, now emboldened by their merger with Hizbul Islam, attacked her hospital and home and compound (refuge to 90,000 homeless starving Somali Muslims!) with artillery and automatic weapons, in retaliation for her having been candid in a BBC radio interview about the damage that al-Shabaab has done in Somalia. They targetted the maternity and surgical wards and the pediatric malnutrition center. Hundreds died and thousands more fled, despite their need for medical care, only to die in the Somali desert. This vengeful cruelty becomes utterly unimaginable when one learns that some of these al-Shebaab attackers have their own wives and mothers living as refugees in Dr. Abdi’s compound.[4] Why does al-Shabaab wreck this horrific inhuman brutality against their own Muslim Somali people? As al-Shabaab spokespersons explain it, alien non-Muslim groups cannot be permitted to enter Somalia because they might host spies, or worse, promote an un-Islamic way of life among the Somali Muslims. According to some al-Shabaab representatives, the U.N.’s declaration of famine in parts of Somalia is politically motivated and “pure propaganda;” and attacks on humanitarian workers and the restrictions against the UN and other groups bringing food to starving Somalis are merely self-defense against foreign non-Muslim influences that might corrupt the pure Islamic way of life for Somali Muslims. Al-Shabaab leaders insist that there is no famine.

The claims of famine are a hoax, they say, perpetrated by Christians who have an anti-Muslim strategy to transport Somali Muslims abroad, especially into Christian countries like Ethiopia and Kenya, “…so that their faith can be destroyed and they could be staff and soldiers for the Christians.” Meanwhile, 30,000 children have died, hundreds of thousands more are malnourished, half-a-million Somali adults are starving, and 1.5 million are homeless; but Somali Islam is kept pure and unsullied by kafir influences. This is conspiracy theory gone ballistic, psychotic mass murder of these terrorists’ own people in order to advance their Muslim jihadist agenda. When the lives of hundreds of thousands of their own Muslim kin mean nothing compared to improving the chances of an al-Shabaab jihad victory in Somalia, we must acknowledge that we are dealing with psychopathic mass murder: Jihad uber Alles. The good news is that Somali government forces have driven al-Shabaab from Somalia’s capitol city, Mogadishu, and have opened the port and roads for UN and USAID supplies and aid workers, at least in the capitol city. Moreover, al-Shabaab may have been weakened both by the government forces’ liberation of Mogadishu and by the blowback of discontent from millions of starving or near-starving Somalis who correctly see al-Shabaab as the cause of their plight. So al-Shebaab’s totalitarian ruthless inhumane treatment of its own Muslim people may now backfire as Somalis suffer mass starvation and hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by al-Shebaab’s blockade and attacks on hospitals and aid workers. Is this a localized Somali tragedy, or should al-Shabaab’s unspeakable cruelty concern the USA?

U.S. Rep. Peter T. King (R-NY) has answered that question. On July 27, Rep. King, Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, convened a Homeland Security meeting in Washington D.C., entitled “Al Shabaab: Recruitment and Radicalization within the Muslim American Community and the Threat to the Homeland.” He said: “Some argue that al-Shabaab is only a Somali problem…(but)…that kind of thinking is a glaring example of what the 9/11 Commission called a failure of imagination.” In his presentation, Rep. King documented that Al-Shabaab operatives in the USA and Canada are engaged in an ongoing successful effort to recruit and radicalize young Muslim Somali Americans for jihad. These young Somali Americans are trained by el-Qaeda in Pakistan, and have been deployed in Yemen, Afghanisan, and Somalia. Some of the recruits who joined Al-Shabaab’s terror cadres in Somalia have been killed in the fighting there, and three became suicide bombers. One who quickly rose to the rank of commander in al-Shabaab in Somalia, Mr. Omar Hammami, was raised a Baptist in Alabama! Al-Shabaab in the USA has been far more successful in recruiting Somali American citizens to their terror ranks than has el-Qaeda. Somali Al-Shabaab emissaries recruit actively in mosques in Somali communities all over the USA, with no opposition from local non-Somali imams (though lack of opposition may be out of fear rather than out of support for the al-Shabaab jihad). Federal prosecutions for funding terrorism and recruiting for terrorist groups are the most numerous for Somali-American Muslims than for other Muslim Americans working for other terror organizations. According to Rep. King, these Somali-American Muslim recruits pose a serious threat of home-grown terrorism. “…this threat is real, and …. al-Shabaab leaders’ public calls for attacks against America — including in retaliation for killing bin Laden — must be taken seriously. With a large group of Muslim-Americans willing to die as “martyrs,” and a strong operational partnership with al-Qaeda leaders in Pakistan and in Yemen, al-Shabaab now has more capability than ever to strike the U.S. homeland.” We must learn from our 9/11 “failure of imagination” and pay close attention to Rep. King’s admonitions. The Somali al-Shabaab display utterly inhuman ruthlessness as they callously condemn hundreds of thousands of their own to death by starvation, in the name of Allah and jihad. Home-grown Somali-American jihadists, trained by al-Qaeda and battle hardened in Somalia and elsewhere, can be expected to treat American kafiroon no less harshly. We must connect the dots now, and take pre-emptive defensive action, before al-Shabaab or their ilk perpetrate another 9/11. Notes: [1] For more details cf. Islamofascism, the Internet, and the liberty contagion

February 23, 2011

Islamofascism, the Internet, and the liberty contagion | Richmond Times-Dispatch

By ROSS MACKENZIE
Published: February 20, 2011

On Egypt et al. let us be very clear.

Joy at the expansion of liberty — maybe even of democracy — is the only defensible sentiment. Any policy based on regime stability alone (as American foreign policy has been based too long) and thereby sanctioning tyranny, autocracy, one-party rule — is based on a premise not only indefensible but false.

The American left went bonkers over George W. Bush’s “Freedom Agenda,” which morphed into a “Freedom Doctrine.” Much of the left never accepted Bush as a legitimate president following the Supreme Court’s ruling about the Florida count in the 2000 election — and so the left could not accept anything he did. Yet it was he who insisted on encouraging democracy to germinate and grow in Iraq, in the hope it might spread throughout the Middle East.

So here we are, with freedom demonstrations from the southern Mediterranean littoral to beyond the Persian Gulf in, even, Iran. Is this apparent contagion a consequence — in a paradigmatic Internet hour — of infectious liberty, and correspondingly eloquent testimony to the fragility of autocratic regimes both Arab and Persian? At almost light-speed, the Internet may have disassembled fascist mullah rule across the Muslim world. Can you not hear — in the streets from Algiers to Tehran — liberty’s alluring song?

Maybe. And maybe not.

Islamofascism is our century’s Soviet communism. It seeks worldwide rule (a global caliphate) achieved and sustained through terror. In Iran, during the Carter administration, the shah fell. Freedom was thick in the air. Then Khomeini took over. Today freedom lies crushed, al-Qaida and the Taliban have sprouted, and Iran has satellized first Gaza (through Hamas) and now Lebanon (through Hezbollah). Syria remains in Iran’s orbit, and Turkey nudges seemingly ever closer.

Now in Egypt, during an Obama administration boasting a foreign policy no less befuddled, ideological, and incompetent than Carter’s, Mubarak is out. Were the Tahrir Square demonstrations genuinely spontaneous? Did his fall just happen, the demonstrators emboldened and enabled by the Internet? Or were those at Tahrir mere marionettes manipulated by an Islamofascist Muslim Brotherhood?

The ‘Hood traces back to a late 1920s founding and to early training by Nazi goons. Many of its alumni are — or were — al-Qaida stars. It helped establish Hamas, which it and Iran still sustain. The ‘Hood’s Supreme Guide, one Mohamed Badi, insists his group will “continue to raise the banner of jihad” against Jews — in his words the ‘Hood’s “first and foremost enemies.” He hates America, signifies for targeting U.S. troops, deplores “Zio-American arrogance and tyranny,” and seeks for Egypt creation of an Islamist state.

Such lovelies could have arranged the demonstrations in Cairo and across the Muslim world. Or they may have been as surprised by those demonstrations as the Obamians were. In either case, as Egypt’s most efficient, disciplined, and stabilizing (there’s that word again) force besides the military, the Muslim Brotherhood may be perfectly positioned to satellize Egypt — thereby advancing the Islamist territorial imperative, not to mention the Iranian dream.

Perhaps it’s true: The Internet may be a liberating tool unimagined just a generation ago. In its face, possibly not even the most ruthless of regimes can survive. Or perhaps in liberating a people subjugated in poverty (at $6,200 per year, per-capita Egyptian income ranks behind Bosnia, Jamaica and Cuba), the Internet liberates only to invite more terrifying subjugation by Islamist cut-throats — as with communist cadres — waiting to rush from the shadows into the corridors of power.

Liberty is of course the ultimate cause. Always. Before our eyes, we may be seeing it blossom — so greatly fertilized by the Internet — throughout the Muslim world. Then again, terrorizing Islamists may move in and capture these revolutions, converting them at the muzzles of guns, Maoist-like, into perversions of democracy that allow one man one vote — once.

That would be the worst sort of outcome. Still, it would enable a blame-mongering American left to unload once again on George Bush, its perceived illegitimate president who planted freedom in the Muslim world, for the perverted, illegitimate democracy his “Freedom Agenda” ultimately wrought.

10 Highlighted problems with mainstream Islam

September 20, 2010

10 Highlighted problems with mainstream Islam

[clarity and concerns are not “bigotry”]

1) DEHUMANIZATION

Apes and pigs, the dehumanization of non-Muslims, Christians as pigs and Jews as apes.[1][2][3][4][5] (Or as some Islamic cleric of the ‘Bali bombing’ called non-Muslims: “worms, snakes and maggots.”[6][7]

2) TERRORISM

Had the mainstream Islam really eject its radicals, the Jihadists wouldn’t have the motivation to go on, Why else is there Islamic terrorism still active in so many parts of the world? The half-way condemnation, and almost always accompanied by a “but”, but the west does this or that argument is still on – after 9 Years from the 9/11 Islamic massacre in 2001.[8][9]

3) SHARIA: OPPRESSION AND ANNIHILATING THE INFIDEL

The campaign, hidden or open for implementation for Sharia law. In Sharia, besides the legal basis for the war against the infidel,[10] women are subjucated, which explaines how top Islamic cleric of Australia called non-Muslim women plain “meat.”[11]

4) HONOR KILLING

One of the great imports from the Islamic culture.[12][13]5) JIHAD & INTIMIDATIONS BY “MODERATES”The so called moderate Muslim leaders that the best they can do is intimidate the west to give in to their Islamic expansion, or else… the radicals will be unleashed.[14][15] The hidden Jihad.

6) SELF-MADE VICTIMHODD

The wide sympathy and support in mainstream Islam to the Palestinian,[16][17][18][19][20] Hezbollah,[21] Taliban,[22] Al Qeada in Iraq tactics of using civilians (indirect murder of their own people) so that the west looks bad. (All of the above causalties are seen by mainstream Islam as nothing else but the ‘victims of the west’).

7) ISLAMIC APARTHEID / BIGOTRY

With all the ‘criticism” of the west, the Islamic world is still practicing Apartheid (in the real sense), religious and gender wise.[23][24][25][26] In the intolerant Muslim world all non-Muslims are either at an inferior status or worse. The Christian minority has dwindeled in Lebanon[27] and among the Jordanian / Palestinian Arabs[28][29][30][31][32] while Muslim population have increased, persection. Islamic bigotry’s also at the roots of conflicts, including in the Sudan[33][34] and in Israel/Palestine[35] (in the intolerant Arab – Islamic world[36][37] against the “other”[38]).

8)}WORLD DOMINATION – GOAL

The open or silent goal by Jihadists, yet backed by so many in mainstream Islam, towards a Caliphate – a theocratic Islamic dictatorship based on the Sharia (religious Islamic law).[39][40][41][42][43][44]

9) A TOTALITARIAN WORLD

The Arab-Islamic world is totalitarian[45][46][47][48] – oppressive, even Lebanon that is supposedly the real democracy in that world, the terror Islamic group Hezbollah has immense power. (Iraq is yet to bee seen). Minorities are in even worse shape.

10) MOST CONFLICTS ALL OVER THE GLOBE ARE BY MUSLIMS

Draw a map and point to the conflicts,[49] then try to detach most of it from Muslims. Here’s a partial list: Russia. Somalia. Sudan. Nigeria. Lebanon. Israel. Iraq. Afghanistan. Pakistan. India. Kashmir. Thailand. Philippines. China.

ARAB RACIST GENOCIDE IN SUDAN – WORST CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY SINCE WWII

April 25, 2010

ARAB RACIST GENOCIDE IN SUDAN – WORST CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY SINCE WWII
YES, IT IS ABOUT RACISM

Genocide in Darfur: investigating the atrocities in the Sudan – Page 30 Samuel Totten, Eric Markusen – 2006
Racist ideology plays an important part of the story, as it has in the history of other twentieth century genocides… And the psychology of “genocide” has become familiar through the sorry repetition of genocidal acts that the last century has witnessed. In 1987, Libya used the northwest Darfur corner as a backdoor to attack Chad. It had equipped and sent out the so-called Arab legion, an Arab supremacist militia, to pursue Arab expansion in the minerall-rich sub-Saharan regions it bordered and to drive out the African tribes. Libya was not orchestrating a simple border raid on a poor country; it was pursuing a new strategy of pan-

Arabism, couched in an emotionally charged ideology.
The sharp distinctions between Arabs and Africans in the racially mixed Darfur region had not been drawn until the ideology of pan-Arabism that came out of the Libya made itself felt.
Some of the nomadic sheiks of the region came to see themselves as the avatars of Arabism, the authentic representatives of their Bedouin origins. They foisted a racial label on a farming people whose way of life they simultaneously distained and felt threatned by.

“The Janjaweed are like a grotesque mixture of the mafia and the Ku Klux Klan,” says Prendergast. “These guys have a racist ideology that sees the Arab population as the supreme population that would like to see the subjugation of non-Arab peoples. They’re criminal racketeers that have been supported very directly by the government to wage the war against the people of Darfur.”
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/10/08/60minutes/main648277.shtml

The Janjaweed are sort of the KKK, the Ku Klux Klan of Darfur. They’ve been used by the government to attack non-Arab civilian populations, to wipe them out so that they undermine the rebellion in Darfur.

Blacks in Sudan are seen as inferior to the Arabs
http://www.turkishweekly.net/op-ed/2419/humanitarian-intervention-in-darfur-a-viable-option.html

Darfur TV cameras cover violence in the Middle East, but a war of… ferocity has been going on in Darfur, western Sudan, since 2004, largely unnoticed. Here the goal of Sudanese Arab gun-wielding, horse-riding, janjaweed militias is to eliminate the non-Arab population. Up to 300,000 people had been shot, hacked, or starved to death by the end of 2006. Thousands of women have been raped. Raids in Darfur by small bands of men with simple hand-held weapons –even machetes in some cases– are killing more people, both in absolute numbers and as rate-per-thousand of the population, than modern computer-guided weapons systems or supersonic fighters dropping fragmentation bombs.
…The janjaweed militiamen are pastoral Arab tribes who have long despised the black African farmers who practice settled agriculture… [Sex and War: How Biology Explains Warfare and Terrorism and Offers a Path to a Safer World, Authors Malcolm Potts, Thomas Hayden, Publisher BenBella Books, 2008 (ISBN 1933771577, 9781933771571) p. 345]

Dr Deng traces the conflict to its toots, dating back to ancient times, when the Arabs traded freely with Bilad al-Sudan, an Arabic phrase “from which Sudan derives its name” and which means “Land of the BlacksThe term land of the blacks was one applied to regions of Africa by almost all outsiders. Today, because the continent’s countries were named by outsiders a good number of them have names that translate as land of the blacks:

The Arab traders married into leading African families. In due time, and with the expansion of Islam and the Arab empire ..

in the 7th century, many descendants DESCENDANTS. Those who have issued from an individual, and include his children, grandchildren, and their children to the remotest degree. of the admixture of Arab and African blood became ready converts to Islam.

But, unlike elsewhere in Africa “where, with the exception of Mauritania, people identify themselves as Africans, the northern Sudanese see themselves as Arabs and deny the strongly African element in their skin colour and physical features. They associate these features with the Negroid race and see it as the mother race of slaves, inferior and demeaned.

“Having been permitted by Islam and the assimilationist Arab culture to pass into the supposedly superior Arab-Islamic identity, northern Sudanese ‘Arabs’ (39%) do not only vehemently resist any attempt by the non-Arab population (61% nation-wide, with 33% in the South and 28% in the North) to identify the country with black Africa,” says Dr Deng.

They insist on defining it as an Arab country “A prominent northern Sudanese scholar and statesman has even suggested that the Sudan should change its name because it is reminiscent of a denigrated racial label.”

“In the Sudanese context, the more the North asserts its Arabness, the more the South asserts Africanness as a counter identity,” says Dr Deng. Therein lies the heart of the conflict: “In both the North and the South, then, the identity factors have been moved from the realm of benign self-perception to the politically contested stage of national symbolism with the associated implications of shaping and sharing power, wealth, and other national values.”

But, while the conflicting identities between the North and the South appear clear-cur, there are also large groups of non-Arab communities in the North (about 28%) “who have been partially assimilated by their conversion to Islam and adoption of Arabic as the language of communication with other tribes.” These groups have been “virtually adopted by the dominant Arab groups as ‘orphans’ of Arabism, redeemed from their degraded status of their slave origin as black.

“Their identification with Arabism.” Dr Deng says, “is the result of a process in which races and religions were ranked, with Arabs and Muslims respected as free, superior and a race of slave masters, while Negroes and heathens were viewed as legitimate target of slavery, if they were not in fact already slaves.”

All it needed for an African to become an Arab was to convert to Islam, learn to speak Arabic language Arabic language

Ancient Semitic language whose dialects are spoken throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Though Arabic words and proper names are found in Aramaic inscriptions, abundant documentation of the language begins only with the rise of Islam, whose main texts , intermarry with the Arabs and identify genealogically with the master race. “In due course, so liberal was the process that the claim to Arab ancestry could be made from fictional assertions that usually did not need to be verified.”

Colour of skin is also an important factor in Sudan: “The darker the colour of skin, the less authentic the claim to Arab ancestry and the greater the likelihood of being looked down on as of slave origin.”

The vision of the leadership of Sudanese “Arabs” (39%) for a “united Sudan” is one in which the Southerners (33%) are either peacefully converted or forced into Islam. Their vision is a “united Sudan” in which 39% are “Arabs” while 61% are “orphans” of Arabism. The South has rejected that vision as unacceptable and divisive

The vision of the southern leadership had been that of self-preservation and protection of their ancient beliefs and cultures and, lately, Christianity. But in recent years, led by the SPLA/M, for a “United Sudan” has been that of a nation under secular laws, with religious and racial identities consigned to the realm of benign self-perception.

That was the vision the SPLM/A brought to the negotiating table at Machakos. Under this vision, the identity of the nation would revolve around .. name and the flag. Sudan would no longer be identified as “Islamic” or “Arab” or “African”, though in some appropriate instances beneficial to Sudan it could still be identified as “Afro-Arab”.

That vision was rejected as “unacceptable to Islam” by the government “because Islam is a way of life” and therefore encompasses everything a Muslim does.

The compromise vision, it seemed, was the Machakos Protocol, which would give the South six years of secular self-administration in a United Sudan, with the option of voting for the continuation of such unity in diversity or secession as a separate nation.

But the September suspension of the talks by the government and the call for an all-out war should not be seen as mere protest for the SPLA’s capture of Torit, as no ceasefire agreement was signed.

During the negotiations leading to the Machakos Protocol, the government continued the bombing of SPLA-controlled areas and captured a string of SPLA positions; while the SPLA captured the strategic town of Kapoeta from the government, and none of them walked out of the peace talks in protest.

The likelihood is that President Omar Bashir Omar Bashir can refer to:
Omar al-Bashir, leader of Sudan, like President Numeiri before him, has given in to relentless high and low profiled criticism from pan-Arabists and Islamic extremists for having signed the Machakos Protocol, which they see as signalling either an end to their hegemony over other races and religions or providing a possible way out for the people of the South.

When eventually they return to the negotiating table, the observing nations will find that the Sudanese leaders do not agree on what it was exactly they agreed to in Machakos.

Omar Hassan al-Bashir
[April 15, 2010]
On June 30, 1989, Lieut. Gen. Omar Hassan al-Bashir, a military leader in Sudan, seized power in a bloodless coup backed by Islamists. He assumed the presidency in 1993.
Mr. Bashir has been vilified in the West and blamed over the years for cozying up to Osama bin Laden, abusing human rights and unleashing death squads in Darfur, the war-racked region of western Sudan. Last year, he was charged by the International Criminal Court with crimes against humanity.

In announcing his request for a warrant, the prosecutor in the case, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, said that Mr. Bashir had “masterminded and implemented” a plan to destroy three main ethnic groups in Darfur, the Fur, the Masalit and the Zaghawa. The prosecutor said that the president, responding to attacks by rebel groups seeking greater autonomy, had used government soldiers and Arab militias and had “purposefully targeted civilians” belonging to these groups, killing 35,000 people “outright” in attacks on towns and villages […]
The Arab-led government
responded with a ferocious counterinsurgency campaign, which the prosecutor called a genocidal strategy against Darfur’s black African ethnic groups.

‘Jihad and Genocide’

January 10, 2010

‘Jihad and Genocide’
NER ^ | January 2010

Richard Rubenstein: ‘Jihad and Genocide’ a review by Bat Ye’or (January 2010)

In Jihad and Genocide, Richard Rubenstein discusses and clarifies the most important issues of this century. Having written a number of books on the political and cultural processes that led to the genocide of the Jews in World War II, he now detects in jihad the same dynamic targeting Israel.

Most Westerners ignore the meaning of dhimmitude and Islam’s dichotomous division of the world into dar al-Islam (the land of Islam) and dar al-Harb (the land of war). Yet those concepts are fundamental pillars of jihad and encompass the entire Islamic worldview. They affect both everyday life and the future of the West, as is evident every time an airline passenger submits to an intrusive search before boarding a flight. In our nuclear age, these concepts will determine the preservation of our freedom and ultimately of humanity’s survival. In reality, today’s jihadist genocidal rage targets more than Israel. It targets the entire civilized world.

Using primary sources, religious injunctions, and related modern literature, Rubenstein exposes the universality of the jihad threat. Muslims are under the religious obligation to expand the abode of Islam by war, by peaceful means such as immigration, and da’wa (proselytism). Islamists believe global peace can only be achieved through the worlwide domination of Islam. With scholarly objectivity and balanced arguments, the author analyses the structure and implementation of jihad deployed in time and space. He underlines the two opposing interpretations of jihad, the Muslims and the non-Muslim. The Muslim sees jihad and its consequence – Islamization – as a benefit for humanity. They judge resistance of non-Muslims to Muslim forces to be a criminal war against Islam that prevents universal obedience to Allah’s injunctions. That principle dominates contemporary Islamist international policy and is used to justify its hatred against Israel, regarded as guilty of defending itself, as well as its accusation that America is itself guilty of 9/11 for its “sinful” opposition to Islamist imperialism. Similarly, western opposition to Islamization and the alleged sin of “Islamophobia” are condemned as crimes.

Rubenstein examines the genocidal potentialities of jihad in the writings of Sayyid Qutb, one of the most influential radical Islamist thinkers. He stresses Qutb’s view that jihad is not a territorial war that can be solved by diplomatic compromise. Islamists regard Jihad as a war for Allah that aims at bringing the whole of humanity under Allah’s law. In this view, the non-Muslim world is characterized by jahiliyya, defined by Qutb as the “state of ignorance of the guidance of Allah.” According to Qutb, jahiliyya is the condition of a sub-humanity condemned to disappear. Qutb belonged to the Muslim Brotherhood movement, one of today’s most powerful organizations that propagates his teachings worldwide. These views are shared by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) that unites 57 Muslim countries and whose ultimate aim is the re-Islamization of the universal Muslim community and the restoration of the Caliphate as a global Islamic empire. This trend explains the return of some shari’a laws in Indonesia (e.g. stoning adulterers in Aceh), and the pro-Islamist evolution of Turkey. Although Qutb’s heirs may diverge on the tactical steps necessary to achieve the global Caliphate, their jihadist activities spread terror and massacres worldwide, including violence against Muslims judged insufficiently religious.

World war II…

After the war, the massive social, political, economic and intellectual links between unreconstructed Nazis and Fascists and the Arab/Muslim world remained unbroken. Many Nazis now operated in high places in post-World War II Arab countries. Nazi looted treasures were hidden in Western banks. Maintained as an underground, unnoticed trend, this vast network emerged in the 1970’s as a full Euro-Arab alliance against America and Israel. Although downplayed by the governments of the European Community (EC), a policy of Islamization of Europe was nevertheless conducted in tandem with an incitement to antisemitism… In the last chapter, the author examines the psycho-social roots of the virulent Islamic hatred against both the West (Christianity) and Israel. According to Rubenstein, this violence emerges from the rage, humiliation and impotence of societies that cannot attain the leading place in the world they believe Allah has bestowed upon them. Islamic theology rejects kaffirs – infidels who are considered a sub-humanity that must either convert to Islam or submit as dhimmis – since Islam is in their eyes the bearer of the perfect religion elected by Allah to govern the world. For over a millennium, Muslim power has imposed on non-Muslims the worst attributes of contempt as a visible proof of its superiority. But the humiliation of the Ottoman defeat at Lepanto (1571), the successive retreats in the 17th and 18th centuries before Russian and Western advances, the loss of the Ottoman colonial empire in Europe, followed by Western colonization and its present underdeveloped condition, could trigger a desperate apocalyptic move to destroy the world in which Islam is not supreme. …

Some latest highlights of ISLAMOFASCISM (Dec-09, Jan-10)

Laina Farhat-Holzman: What happens to poisonous ideologies over time? Santa Cruz Sentinel – Jan 2, 2010… Islamism. During this same period, another ideology was born that inflames the world today: Islamo-Fascism or Islamism, a form of Islam that combines the ideologies of literally-practiced Islam and totalitarian Nazism and Communism, both of which were much admired by this sect’s founders. The Muslim Brotherhood, spawned in Egypt, is the godfather of every Islamist organization at work in the world today.

Their narrative is that Islam should once more prevail over all other religions; that Muslims should rule and all others either convert, be enslaved, or be exterminated; and that any deception in furtherance of this narrative is authorized by Allah. The long-range plan is to take over the world. This ideology with its accompanying death cult is most dangerous to ordinary Muslims themselves, who are intimidated and fear for their children being sucked in by these poisonous pied pipers.

What does history tell us about the outcomes of such poisoned narratives? Because they are all so extreme, they eventually succumb to corruption, bad decisions, implosion, or destruction by their neighbors. The Nazi empire collapsed in 1945, after Germany turned Europe into a charnel house. Today’s Germany has a different narrative that has made it peaceful, prosperous, and responsible. Narratives can change.

Communism collapsed from within, fortunately without open conflict with the West. The former Russian Empire is working on new narratives — not fully functional as yet, but a great improvement over the old one.

The Islamist narrative has provoked war with the West and great stress within the Muslim world itself. We hear that the Islamic Republic of Iran not a spin-off of the Muslim Brotherhood, but a cousin is in great disarray, with a population fed up with the narrative and the clerics who rule them. In Pakistan, too many otherwise educated people live in denial that Islamism is the problem. They maintain conspiratorial nonsense that the daily attacks on them are American or Israeli plots. Fortunately, the military know better.

Narratives that preach hatred, promote death cults, and fail to promote an economy backed by rule of law that can make them flourish are doomed to collapse. Narratives that promote the persecution of women, punish freedom of thought, and promote violent intimidation of their populations and their neighbors are heading for the trash heap of history. They are unsustainable.

Dissention Boils In Iran Despite Brutal Suppression. By Skip MacLure 12/28/2009 01:29:58 PM EST Here’s another classic DO NOTHING, SAY NOTHING moment for our `do nothing of substance’ President, as the people of Iran struggle to throw off the brutal yoke of repression as represented by the Islamo-Fascist regime of Ali Khamenei. This week has seen more unrest and demonstrations throughout the country, following the death (it is reported) by natural causes of dissident cleric Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri seven days ago.

Rep. Sue Myrick’s Top 10 List For Islamofascism

A couple weeks ago, Rep. Sue Myrick revealed a 10-step plan to aide in defending our nation from the influx of islamofascism. That plan is (as described by one commenter, PMK) being quietly buried by our compliant media as well as our politicians…

The plan also seems to have gotten the tightie-whities of one Jibril Hough in a bunch. Hough, a spokesman for the Islamic Center of Charlotte has attempted to equate Myrick’s proposal with McCarthyism, or in his terms, Myrickism. “A campaign of fear” was the headlining title for the article in the Charlotte Observer, in which Hough was joined by (D.)Ross Overby who will be challenging Myrick for her 9th district seat.

On an aside, it’s a shame that those who continue to utilize the “McCarthy syndrome,” don’t keep up with the news. Or perhaps since it’s been a short while in passing, they just don’t remember hearing that McCarthy was proven to be correct in his assumptions. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Or maybe that “fair and balanced” media just simply forgot to report much about it.

The award for “most expected to also be pissed off” over Myrick’s plan goes to the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations. Accepting the award for them, (since many of their leadership personages have already, or are currently being prosecuted for terrorist ties,) will most probably be a representative from the Muslim Brotherhood. Hey, it’s to be expected since CAIR is merely a front group for them. It might also have something to do with the fact that part of Myrick’s proposal calls for CAIR’s ties and non-profit status to be investigated.

Anyhow, Myrick HAS responded to Hough, demanding a point by point rebuttal of her plan. Myrick also said, “I’d be glad to have a dialogue with them. The whole point is that we’re trying to get people to work together.” But that’s not likely to happen, as it’s hard to refute the truth. Hence personal attacks, via McCarthy parallels and rants about seeking political gain.

Peter Beinart: The War on Terror Isn’t a War
January 4, 2010
If you’re trying to kill large numbers of people who are trying to kill you en masse, most people would correctly identify this situation as a war. President Barack Obama knows this, which is why he bristled at former Vice President Dick Cheney’s recent claims that he doesn’t treat our counterterror efforts like a war against Islamofascism. But writing for the Daily Beast, Peter Beinart argues:
[W]hile America is obviously at war in Afghanistan and Iraq, it isn’t actually at war with jihadist terrorism. Rather than proving Cheney wrong, the White House should have done something more audacious: Prove him right.
Beinart says Obama should openly embrace the argument that the War on Terror isn’t a “war” for three main reasons. First, the term “war” should be reserved for direct armed confrontations, and common American rhetoric about “wars” on poverty, cancer, drugs, and such have diluted this strict meaning. Second, the term gives the executive branch cover to destroy civil liberties in the name of security. Third, it gives the false impression that bullets and bombs are sufficient to defeat Islamofascism.
